Call dealers, offer ADM, get car, work a bit more to cover ADM ....
With 1948 being made, the fact that it is a convertible and manual only (assuming this is true), the US should get a healthy portion of 1948, maybe 800 or more, and I figure it will be $200k plus, this will not be 911R level hard to get. Keep in mind when the R came out, everyone thought there would be no manual GT 911 cars anymore.

I just received a note from a dealer asking if I was interested in a spot.. and I'm nobody in Porsche world. While I have other routes available if I want one, this is already interesting..
why?
I'm thinking price must be high enough where this won't be a slam-dunk. However, under $200k I'm interested. I've owned a spyder, I own a gt3... and for my needs.. an open-top with a 9k screamer engine and a manual is my holy grail.
If it's not this, it will be the 718 spyder at $100k.. I'm patient and content to wait and see what happens.

Pretty sure it will be well over 200k, as CAlexio surmises the price could eliminate the prospect pool a bit (turbo s exclusive style)
I also think that it will be incredibly fun to drive on the track (as all open top cars are) but very curious what tire profiles/ characteristics the car shows up with.
CW- my comment was more inside joke (for the 20 people who know now) than reality (I'm definitely not going to break a story here before a Flacht embargo) and I think a lot of people took it that way. I however will (once embargo is lifted) post a nice write up of my own Story and Futuristic Driving Experience behind the small windscreen.
In order to avoid confusion I capitalized it for hiding and emphasizing contextual clues. Of course if you follow a few key people on instagram you might be able to put it together. I know you get so excited.
