The very special engine makes it a credible alternative even to the GT3/Touring.

Without the motor and 1984 units, the scramble would bd less muted at the premium price Porsche will extract. And of course the 70 year anniversary edition is worth an extra few thousand.

Will they all be 70th anniversary or is that a portion of the cars?

With MT only and 1948 examples this car may prove far less than an overnight sell out if enough first option clients pass.

Except, you're wrong on this one :-)

Also sounds fantastic with Ferrari V8.
Even though it was many years ago I will never forget the first time I saw and sat in a metallic deep red 8c coupe, one of the most gorgeous cars in the flesh, period. Wish I could own one too. Enjoy.

Announced on June 8, 70 years to the day. I suppose all will be the 70th anniversary edition.

70th anniversary of State of Israel, the British NHS & Porsche - all created soon after the 2nd WW ended.

Whatever they call it Speedster or GT3 cabriolet, PDK or manual, as long as it has the GT3RS engine in it and it is a convertible considering I have no convertible right now, I think I'll go for it. If I don't like it, then sell it.

Drive safe,

Imagine they were to put a 3.0 Turbo GTS engine in that car........would they even sell the 1948 units at prices for prior Speedster kind of prices ?

Good point. If you can get it at MSRP you will never lose.

I just hope it has some defining body work to differentiate it a little more
