Yesterday my dealer confirmed me the production of my Speedster in August. Configurator in Russia is not fully ready , so the final specification is not formed.

It is $15K for Paint-To-Sample (PTS) for Speedster in case you don't like the color of Heritage Edition and want to do PTS. Heritage Edition limits how much customization you can do to the car.

If you go PTS, you might as well do a lot of CXX options but be prepared to budget just below $400K for MSRP.

CXX refers to all the special things you choose to do to your car like painted wheels, stripes, coloured leather, pepita inserts, piping, etc. Your imagination and your wallet being the only limits.

I am in Canada and received allocation today for a later summer build. I was told PTS is not available.

I too live in Canada. Got allocation Wednesday, PTS offered Thursday, and lock in for PTS is available until the end of the day today. I have a confirmed build for September. Went Mexico.

All 918 VIP's are lock and loaded. First round of VIP allocations go hard on Monday for final orders continuing until June(me).

Thanks so much! Always loved this R with the satin alum wheels and Mexico. Going silver standard lights, all GT silver stitching, will lots of CXX such as leather vents, extended dash and so on. Waiting on confirmation for houndstooth inserts and Euro delivery availability, I should find out next week.

I asked if any other leather options such as cognac or espresso are available as that may have impacted my final color choice, which my exclusive contact at Porsche Canada replied:

Unfortunately no. It’s a rather limited production run and so there are not that many options and we don’t expect anymore to be released. The only possible alternative is a full special request interior however doing it this way can cost between $20,000 and $60,000 depending on the colour and extent you want to go to.
