Here in the SF Bay area, white has to be the most popular GT3 color so that would not be first on my list. I am not a fan of Miami blue. I have seen it several times and it would not be my first choice either. Guards red is the classic Porsche color so I don' think you can go wrong with that one, especially since it is the non-heritage launch edition color.

GT Silver would be the classic standard color for the car in my opinion.

If you are in the U.S., patient and extremely persistent I believe cars will be available at MSRP. The admin will start high. Probably very high. Take a look at the GT2RS. You may not have the ability to order a car or be the documented first owner but I think there will be new or delivery miles cars available. 1948 $300k cars with a a manual trans and a manual top is a lot of cars to sell when the buyer is not guaranteed that the car will be worth more in some short period of time. There are fewer 918 VIP's than 3 years ago. There are more GT car manual choices than 3 years ago. In addition, the Spyder is coming. There are some true Porsche folks that may actually prefer a smaller lighter car. And then there's the possibility of a GT3 Cabriolet with the newly developed Speedster (992.1 GT3) motor. I don't know that "mere mortals" have $300k laying around for a Speedster but if you do I recommend patience and persistence.
it will come worse and worse. Hybrid is a solution but not my taste.

The future
except that pure GT atmo is not a never ending story and the end is nearer than ever now because of emission regulation. We all know that Porsche have difficulties to homologate the speedster and the 991.2 GT3 RS here in Europe since the WLTP norma in 2018 september the first.

You are correct. NA MT cars will end. At one time I was told that the Speedster will be the last RS motor MT Porsche. But that was some time ago and the world is moving fast. The message I get from the Speedster (and a NY Auto show conversation with a PAG Director) is that the Speedster engine is new and was developed for a new 992.1 GT3. I received that answer when I asked about the "expensive" MSRP. In other words, he told me that the development cost to meet EU emissions and fuel economy standards in a 500 hp NA motor, is being passed along to the consumer. I have also been told, by another PAG Director, that some complicated corporate calculation regarding electric cars will allow Porsche to sell the sports cars we love for some period of time. I'd expect a rise in in all GT cars MSRP moving forward. We all know that the MSRP ($144,850 USA) of a GT3 is too cheap! How many of us, with no admin, would take a lightly equipped new GT3 for that money? They know this and certainly want a cut of the cottage admin industry as well. But the good news is that there will be a NA 992.1 GT3. I believe Porsche will make every effort to include a MT 992.1 GT3. But there is still no MT 992 released! MT's are less fuel efficient, inconsistent with regard to emissions and not very adaptable to hybrid or electric technology. I'm holding on to both my NA MT 2016 cars.
I am happy that I have no interest in the 992 GT3 but if they are going to increase the MSRP prices it will also drag up the 991 prices on the secondary market

It will be very interesting if moving forward that they will be increasing MSRP on these cars by $50,000 to $75000 beginning with the 992.- Good luck with that because contrary to popular belief- many Buyers to cross-shop their toys.

That is a huge increase, especially since it makes less HP.
I think future Speedster owners would be bummed to learn that a 992.1 GT3 with a 4.0 NA motor making as much or more HP with an MSRP below $200k (my guess on price).
Even more of a concern would be a 992.2 R with a 4.0 NA motor making more HP than the Speedster and selling for under $300k (my guess on price).
Porsche certainly has a challenge to get this right...
