I have a 71 orange bar hood crest I have been holding onto forever (it’s my avitar) and keep thinking I will fit it to my GT3T.

The way the roof finishes against the side panel looks a bit funky.

Hey,at least it has a roof... Go back 150 pages and there were people who thought this car won't have a roof at all. So if you get caught up in rain you'd just have to drive faster or use one of those tonneau covers like in the old Jag D type....

Anyone know if the Heritage package will be available on different colours?

I'm happy it has a proper roof and Porsche did a good job with it although yes, it is slightly awkward, but frankly it turned out much better than I expected. it looks solid for one thing. Personally, I'd prefer to keep the top down 24/7 but with the top up, this speedster does not resemble a cabriolet gt3 imho. Also if I had to describe it, I'd say the execution reminds me of a Ferrari top on a futuristic 911 body. The top has an outlaw quality

One thing that surprised me about the Heritage Edition is that the 2-tone nose is actually painted. Only the numbers and Porsche are decals.

Its like the WP 2RS. Stickers/wrap would not work well on the bumper and matching stickers to the painted bumper would also be hard so they paint the fenders.

Yeah...the question is why when we pretty much know Porsche is usually rational... Perhaps it brings brownie points on Rennlist...
Just like with the gas lid location...no surprise they've moved it. Perhaps they could've kept the mirrors I guess...

From what I can tell, the Heritage Edition is only cosmetic, right?

It looks that only color for heritage will be GT silver, the only option you will have is to choose heritage with or without the decor. Black/ cognac interior will be available only for the heritage.

Standard colors will include lizard green, miami blue, lava orange, crayon, racing yellow, reds, blacks etc but also PTS will be available to everybody (however it adds 6 months wait at least for those ordering in Europe). These colors will be available only with black interior, but you could choose different color stitching.

CXX will be available upon consultations

I was really hoping for some other heritage combos.

If only silver and white on heritage, I will quite likely go PTS. I wonder how much PTS and CXX leather interior will cost vs Heritage.?

A dream for me would be Agate Grey Metallic with exposed carbon 911 R stripes. This would include striping on the roof piece like they did on the turbo exclusive.

Or
Heritage in Slate Grey and exposed Carbon instead of the white bits

Option 1 would only require work to 2 body panels and similar treatment to the roof like they did on the Exclusive.

I would then try and tie in something cool with the seat inserts. Maybe use a similar material to what they used on the Touring for a cf effect as stripes.

Oh my days! Lifetime keeper for me
