The metric HP for Speedster is 508.5 (compared to GT3’s 500 and RS’s 520). The Brake HP for all 3 is lower (that’s where 502 comes from). Engine is better than RS’s, but is either strangled by emissions or Porsche intended it to be between the other two for marketing purposes. Can’t wait to see those ITB’s on 992 GT3 (fingers crossed). Same motor makes 550 hp with 9,400 rpm redline on GT3R

I get the collector thing, but life is too short. if I get one I'm driving mine like a dd until the warranty is out. Where I live it would work out great. I want euro delivery and a road trip to a certain cemetery in Fairmount.

... and what happened to those gorgeous wheels and new design lights of the Paris concept? So no new wheels on the heritage nor the non-heritage. Fuel cap is conventional 991 as are the mirrors. Lights are the conventional unit options from the 991. What new non-PTS colours will we see if any?

My dealer had spots open as recently as 2 weeks ago because they expected MSRP to be at least $250K (they were low as it turns out) and they expected to add a $100k-$150K ADM. They believed they were getting 5 slots total.

Why is this car heavier than the GT3 / GT3RS? It has a manual cloth top, less glass, and other "lightweight" features.

Yes, it's a convertible iteration of the coupe and needs extra structural reinforcements to account for the loss of structural rigidity due to losing the coupe's frame. It wasn't designed as a convertible/roadster at the outset like the Boxster was.
