Word around that I heard, supply will be very low, needless to say it would be rather difficult to secure one unless you are a person in the Very Important Person (VIP) program, then after that the typical Very VIP (VVIP) who buys multiple Porsches in a given year in and year out. Then the "commoners" next.

Commoners will get the table scraps unfortunately.

Initial ADM will be $125k to $150k just like the 991R then it'll melt quickly down to $50k over.

It needs to melt before all the builds lock. I want a rubber dash, retiree green, topless stripper. I don’t want an every box ticked silver heritage package with $2500 mirrors in silver. I need a build slot, not a martinized car ().

And I think you are high. I mean I am sure someone will pay $100k over because they have to have it, but I don’t think there is anything like 911R (who wants an impractical convertible, there are 2x as many to be built, the sticker will be much higher than the 911R, and people have figured out there is not a pile of money in new collectible Porsches).

No rubber dashes allowed here! haha Look where the ADMs were and that was people speculating that there would only be 500-600 US cars and then Porsche decided to double that (good job, guys). And yes, there's plenty of "dumb" money out there.

That is the sad reality, unfortunately.

They aren't really "commoners" as their wallet is fat and can afford the ADM.

It is the same cycle. Wash, rinse, repeat.

what is ADM? Premium above msrp? As far as categories. I fall into one of the categories. I bought two made to spec spyders in the same year. THe new speedster would be useful for research because we're working on a James Dean Graphic Novel for Fantagraphics. is do for publication next year!...

Heritage package from what I heard is above $40K.

It will have those tiny bucket seats, and there will be ADM without a doubt.

This car will push more people AWAY from Porsche because they won't be able to order one, just like the GT3, and for what? To make their already *** kissed VIPs feel more warm and fuzzies parking their new speedster next to their 918 and 911Rs? They should ban current VIPs from getting these and sell to some good old wholesome regular 1% ers.

When I say "commoners" I'm talking about those select few mortals without deep pockets that aren't VIPs or VVIPs and secure MSRP allocations.

Oh don't worry. There will be an equivalent version of it for the third party. Just as there was the 911R, they created the GT3 Touring version to quench the thirst. I just do not know what they would call the equivalent, after the Speedster production run.

If they follow the speedster up with a GT3 cab I will be super happy. As it is, justifying an extra, what, $100k in sticker over a GT3 for no roof is hard for me to justify. If they just made a GT3 Touring cab at the standard cab extra cost ($13k or whatever) that would be ideal for me. I don’t need humps on my topless stripper
