Default PTS Touring Poll = Non-Metallic Vs Metallic Paint

Now that PTS has been available a few weeks for the Touring, if you ordered one or could get an allocation for one, would you get:

A. Touring aluminum trim PTS non-metallic

B. Touring aluminum trim PTS metallic

C. Touring black trim PTS non-metallic

D. Touring black trim PTS

*Non-metallic are colors like: Signal Yellow, Brewster Green, Mexico Blue, etc.
*Metallic are colors like: Oak Green Metallic, Viola Purple Metallic, Cobalt Blue Metallic, etc.

I went Touring aluminum trim PTS non-metallic.

I would get either Irish green or the non-metallic British Racing green with the black trim. would be glorious.

Yes, those greens are great. I was torn a while back between aluminum or black trim, but I feel the black trim would look to similar to a 991R, and would prefer it to resemble the classic '73 RS Touring look. But of course, like colors, it all personal preference. It will look great in any combo.

I wonder what the "dark" color to "skittle" color ratio is on Touring orders....

That metal trim for the touring, is really beautiful and unique… I wish it existed for the regular version also. Don’t miss out on it, really sets your car apart, especially if you do slightly tinted windows which provides an amazing contrast.

I can’t comment on the color as it really depends with what hue you go with, but that window trim reminds me of all my favorite old school 911’s

If I was going PTS, my Touring choice would be Brewster Green or perhaps a lighter shade in Irish Green with silver trim.
Sadly PTS was pushing my car's arrival back to late May or June, from it's scheduled early March arrival.

What ever I got i would be thinking how would it look covered in Xpel stealth - that is what I would cover it with.

Save yourself some $$ and go with black and cover it with aluminum trim and wheels ect- would look great

I am PTS metallic (Oak Green) with silver trim. Other than the lack of wing the silver trim is one of the signature elements of the touring. Would be a shame to pass it up.

Firstly, I have no allocation; Secondly, Porsche are not offering PTS in the UK.

But if I could pick any combo of exterior I'd go Chrome trim & Night Blue Metallic paint and if by some miracle I do end up with a slot I'd probably got for Chrome & Jet Black Metallic.

Is the no PTS in the UK really a thing? It doesn’t sound right to me. Have you checked with other dealers?

Here I go modding before I even have the car in my hands, but I’m thinking I’d like to put Alu trim on my winged car.. I wonder how hard that is, and whether it would be possible to purchase the trim from porsche?...

+1. Jet black with aluminum trim and bright wheels which is what I ordered. Old school 911.
