It’s a challenge physically and mentally but that’s what I wanted. No regrets and no regrets leaving chasing allocations behind!!!
a slow YouTube at AMP..

Absolutely Awesome. I'd love to have a go in a RXC myself. I prefer closed cockpit.

update! kinda cross post to de/race forum. but here is why i replaced the RS
Well I did it, a lifelong bucket list item, finally can say I have raced. Did the Mitty last weekend 2 races, 3 quali’s. qualified 12 out of 30 cars. It was hairy and adrenaline high all in one. Race starts were cheek clenching going 3 wide into turn 1 and up the hill. I got mugged by big bore can-am cars at the start of race 1 which is where I lost most of my places. Ended 17th. Second race had to start 17th and ended 14th. Was a bit frustrating as I was faster through the turns and brake point than some of the big bores. Took some risk passing down through turn Three into bottom of esses but with only 156whp I just waived as bigger motors drove on by on the straights. All that work . Anyhow car and I came home unscathed and the Mitty is such a cool event. Here is a little snippet of the grid.
and here is race 1. interesting stuff at 5:40 and 9:00 + a few others. watching again, my lines were awful, my times were nowhere near quali times but.. what an experience! I have to go look these cars up especially the big engine ones. Lolas, Gt40 but not sure of the others. so 1.3 liter vs 5L+ was interesting for sure. i was peddling fast as i could....
ps: just got back from new Driving Club track day Friday. Discovered car not setup for Hoosiers, went back to Dunlops and turned personal best of 1:31.4 getting there but still a ways off from fast guys. Finally got turn 12 kinda figured out to go consistently flat. must be almost on the grass at turn it. get it right and it was so much easier.

Fair play to you for putting actually doing it and going racing. Ive been on loads of bike track days and heard " I'm so fast, I could race, Im at the front of the fast group blah blah blah ".
Excellent work, the noise from the Radical is awesome.

thanks Nizer. I see an SR8 in my future to combat the Lolas but need to learn how to drive this car to it’s full capability.
thanks. I wanted to tell folks, yes I actually race. It’s the doing, does not bother me about placing so long as I have some folks to race with.

Wow this is awesome, your first race! To think that I saw your car at the Chin event in February at RA! Great job, what a thrill...

Most importantly you took green flags and checkered flags...hopefully with more seat time and engineering for setup you will get the most from your ride and continue to have fun and progress!

thanks CJ! Yeah was a mistake switching to Hoosiers for races without testing.., I had no idea. Figured if the tire fits then all is the same... not😕 Car was dreadful. After research found Hoos have a really stiff sidewall. Need way less camber. I could see an inch of outside of tire looked brand new. I am learning, still need bigger ***** to trust downforce. Thanks for encouragement.
