In case you are not aware of it (and lest you do something you may later regret), the interior yellow trim you have is an option you can only get through the Porsche Exclusive program at an additional cost of $2,000.00 or so. The only way Porsche will allow an interior trim color other than exterior color of the car, is by approval of the Porsche Exclusive folks. And, in those requests, the only colors they allow are the exterior colors available to the car through the configurator. And even then, only those colors available in the configurator over the last two years. In other words, no PTS allowed. All of which which means the trim you have is Speed Yellow.
Could be, in Canada, the rules are different. I don't know.
With that trim, though, you have inherited a very unique , Porsche applied, (read valuable), color detail. Also, a detail which, IMO, provides a little visual relief from the, otherwise, boring consistency of a completely black car.

You will stop noticing them in a couple weeks. Someone will trade straight up for stock ones. If they were yellow slats I would have given you stock plus cash as I would just cover the slats in leather as the exterior is leather on painted slats.

OP the racing yellow AC surround looks great! I actually prefer it in RY over the stock silver. I always wanted to get the climate control painted and many people always advised me against it. Now i see it and agree better to have it stock.
A simple solution for the nipples and the climate control get them dipped in black. This way if ever one day you want to sell the car and the new owner wants the original yellow highlights you can easily remove the dip.
The nipples on my car were originally silver and i had them dipped by car dip in gloss black even the calipers i changed from stock red to the AMG bronze / orange color by doing car dip. Good thing about car dip you can easily remove it and stock will be back without affecting the stock color.
