Hi lucky 911 R owners.

Question regarding the colour of your seats.

When I see pics, it looks like a deep, rich dark brown.

But my dealer says it's called natural brown which in my long departed 996tt, it was more butterscothy.

Please help me understand. Thanks!

Not an owner, but from what I’ve seen in person it is very close to the picture of the R interior you posted. Most likely the same shade as the darker brown used for e.g. Cayenne’s with the espresso interior and probably even darker than that.

Hello Jamie,

While it looks "Natural Brown", it is called "Tarpan Brown" on the Monroney label, along with back then on the Porsche online configuration system. The "Tarpan Brown" is much darker than your 996TT which you have shown for comparison. I like the "Palomino" leather of Ferrari which is much lighter but got attracted to the "Tarpan Brown" since most of my interior are in black. Some of my interior pics attached back then when I first got delivery. Hope this helps.

Jamie I had one with brown and it's a deeper darker brown. I think it looks great in the 911R
