Default 991.2 GT3 RS value impact on MK1 RS

Hi everyone.

In your opinion how could the 991.2 GT3RS presentation influence the value of 991.1 GT3RS?
Now the .1 value is stable around 190/220.000€
what will happen in March?
Onyone whit the crystal ball?

I’ve heard someting about the possibility that gen2 could be a limited edition... anyone know something more?

thanks

New model will theoretically drop values, but who’s going to get a new RS? and what will the premium be?

New RS being announced doesn’t mean jack for the majority of us. We are still only allowed to own 991.1 lol

^ pretty much sums it up. History tells us what to expect on .2RS adm which may even be higher in light of the limited production period and made worse by the dreaded “VIP” program.. .1RS values may even go up some.

Where do you live? 190/220 are VERYYYYYYY OPTIMISTIC prices, VERY. Right now there are plenty of decent specs and low km, between 175-190 that's where ALL the live market is, the others are just wishful 'let's see if someone pays' people, that probably won't sell (unless it's a PTS or 0 km cars).
After the new one starts to land, 140-170 will be the market that today is 175-190.

How do you figure that it will be a limited production? It won't, it will be the same as the .1 RS and the GT2 RS, as many as people want and they can make in the time slot that they have.

In Europe the minimum request now is 185.000€ and it goes to 240.000€ (0km to 10.000km)
THE REQUEST... Different thing it's what they really realize.

It's just for talk
Maybe they can decide to do like the 997 4.0 and do a -limited, extra power muscle bumpers like 991GT2rs- edition

nice no ADM, and is the minus VAT? I use to live in AMS so VAT is key.

You are aware of forthcoming 992 in 2019 and the limited production cycle left for all 991s? . Key is the short production cycle they have for the car. They are not making donuts or hamburgers to order. Capacity is limited by many factors including other products and time. You then have VIP program here and without any doubt dealer “market adjustment”.

.1RS commanded a $100k adm last time and still commands an adm in most cases.

Do you expect any less than a $100k adm again? Minimum. Could likely see .1 prices tick up $25k or so with this.

.2GT3 are commanding adm here in U.S.

btw the link you posted is to a .2GT3 with steel brakes.

All GT cars are limited production. You then have exclusive such as the R or 918.

Below this you have standard production such as 911, 911S, GTS, 718, etc...

another fact will be that .2 will be +15% in MSRP.

if 4.2l or stuff like this. it will be +25%.

for sure P will not sell too cheap. as long the production window is still just March-August 2018. if they will get the engine (what ever it will be) ready for Euro6c - they will sell again 6.000+units worldwide. maybe not that much (not that long built as .1) as long 992 will come...
(Waxer, i know you will say there are not 6.000+ units of the .1GT3RS... But you are the only one i know which still stuck on this opinion. Doesn´t matter if real world or internet.)

Production of .1RS started in in or about February 2015. Total WW production as of March 2016 was approximately 1500 units. Due to demand a second run was announced in May 2016. There is no way Porsche could have or would have in that short time with August off quadrupled production from May 2016 to January 2017 of original run when last .1RS was produced. There is documented per Loess and other sources now about 1500 .1RS's in U.S. Double original in U.S.

I not the only one. Its common sense and data. Loess has posted figures. Wike numbers are built on rumor and like all rumors it must be true especially if its on the net.

Believe what you want. I perfer to rely on common sense and data.

Theoretically the .2 RS is to be announced in March. Then likely delivery later in the year- so figure these cars hit a year from now. Are you going to sit on the sidelines for a year not driving either the current .1 RS or the new .2 GT3 hopefully trying to get a .2 RS allocation? Not me. I got my RS. Have a deposit on a GT3 - we will see what happens to the .2 RS when the time comes. till then, no one knows what the prices are going to do. But they aren't tanking. I paid about 12k over MSRP for my .1 RS - Ill probably take a bath when it comes time to sell- I dont care. The last two days of driving were worth every bit the potential bath I take. The car is brilliant and fun.

Live in the now and don't worry about what may or may not come. And even if I can potentially get a .2 rs, 100-150k additional to maybe another 20 horsepower?? No thanks. Im good with the current status quo.
