Theoretically the .2 RS is to be announced in March. Then likely delivery later in the year- so figure these cars hit a year from now. Are you going to sit on the sidelines for a year not driving either the current .1 RS or the new .2 GT3 hopefully trying to get a .2 RS allocation? Not me. I got my RS. Have a deposit on a GT3 - we will see what happens to the .2 RS when the time comes. till then, no one knows what the prices are going to do. But they aren't tanking. I paid about 12k over MSRP for my .1 RS - Ill probably take a bath when it comes time to sell- I dont care. The last two days of driving were worth every bit the potential bath I take. The car is brilliant and fun.
Live in the now and don't worry about what may or may not come. And even if I can potentially get a .2 rs, 100-150k additional to maybe another 20 horsepower?? No thanks. Im good with the current status quo.

In Europe the minimum request now is 185.000€ and it goes to 240.000€ (0km to 10.000km)
THE REQUEST... Different thing it's what they really realize.
There are around 15 GT3 RS selling for less than 185.000 € including the PTS black from Jo_Ker a lot of very decent specs.

It's just for talk
Maybe they can decide to do like the 997 4.0 and do a -limited, extra power muscle bumpers like 991GT2rs- edition

I'm not talking today, I specifically said when the 991.2 GT3 RS start to land and be delivered. Most 991.1 GT3, that people want to sell are already between 110k - 130k (a lot of them here)

I want a .2 RS If I can get one without games, get a fair trade for my current vehicles and not have to pay an ADM. If not, screw em. Tons of good cars out there including the existing Porsches.

They will do, that will pull down prices even more. I was imagining either a Manual RS or a bunch of parts from the RSR pulled into an RS.

.1RS values are set up to tank.
It feels like this generation has had more speculation than any non-limited RS models before it setting it up for a bigger crash.
Huge production compared to previous RS models.
So many new buyers to the brand that weren't Porsche enthusiasts before and don't hold onto their cars like Porsche enthusiasts do.
No manual transmission.
Engine with zero connection to Motorsport as it was never actually raced.
The engine in the 991.1 RS is basically equivalent of the ugly styling of the 996 GT3 and will hold back values far into the future. I think the 991.1 3's are going to be viewed as the red-headed stepchildren of GT models. ....from the normal 3, to the RS, to the R.
I mean this seriously... If your options are a PDK .2 RS 10 years from now or a 997.2 RS with a manual --- why would anyone choose a 991.1 RS except due to a significant break in the price? The 997.2 will provide more of an analog experience and the 991.2 will simply outclass the 991.1 in every way including the Motorsport heritage.
Game over.
