Default No Magnesium Wheel? No Problem – 991.2 GT3RS on ANRKY AN24’s by TeamWB

We all love the OEM Magnesium wheel options that the GT2RS & GT3RS come with however if we’re being honest it isn’t very practical of a wheel if you track your RS hard and often. The cost and rarity of the wheel means that if you curb check it or otherwise damage it in any way you’re left having to purchase a new set of wheels. That is why many Porsche owners are turning to aftermarket performance wheels like these ANRKY AN24’s.

Custom built from the ground up, you can either order these with a more aggressive offset to widen the car’s track or having them built identically to the OEM specs. Availability is almost immediate as a replacement wheel can be built in 10 days. And best of all, the wheel is completely customizable in finish and configuration to your desired specs. Not only does this 991.2 GT3RS perform at its peak on the track, it looks damn good doing it and while sitting still anywhere else.

He did in a different post. 1-2 pounds lighter than OEM. No load ratings provided. I would not consider these a viable Mg-alternative, especially at their price

These weigh just over 20 lbs each for the fronts and about 25 lbs each for the rear. Choosing the 1-piece version of this wheel (AN14) instead would reduce the weight even further.

ANRKY Wheels are custom built to order so the load ratings differ depending on each model vehicle. For this car, the load ratings are 650 kg per wheel for the front and 750 kg per wheel for the rear.

In my honest opinion, and the opinion of many RS owners who have already purchased these wheels, it's a viable alternative to the Magnesium wheels. Those customers did not want to wait until 2020 for replacement Magnesium wheels to become available again nor do they want to spend $5k every time one of those wheels was damaged.

Like the look...sort of a play off the stock gt3 wheels. Do these cost less than Forgeline, HRE, BBS.etc?

ANRKY is a private label of HRE so the average price is about the same between the two. Forgeline undercuts both HRE & BBS in pricing typically unless you factor in their carbon barrel wheels.

Below is a photo of the AN14's in centerlock and here's the link to more photos of that vehicle - https://wheelsboutique.com/gallery/p...-anrky-an14-cl

The front's would weigh just under 20 lbs per wheel and the rears would weigh under 25 lbs per.

Thank you for the photo and info! Both AN14 and AN 24 look great to me. However, the weight for both are not too much different. If AN14 is as light as HRE R101LW, I will consider to get it.

The HRE R101 Lightweights are the lightest traditional forged aluminum wheels in the world for the 991 so nothing will be beating that haha. Both those wheels and these ANRKY's have their place in the market for Porsche owners. These ANRKY's are for those that want a unique styled wheel while only sacrificing a tiny bit of weight over the HRE's.

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, I don't like the style of HRE R101 which is very similar with FIR in style, otherwise I would have already bought BBS FIR long time ago!

I hear ya. As mentioned the ANRKY AN14's are a great alternative. More lightweight than the OEM wheels by a good margin and downright stunning stylistically. Not to mention lifetime structural warranty.

Thank you for your reply anyway! The reasons that I don't like FIR or R101 LW are first I don't like the style of both and second too many FIRs have sold in Taiwan. FIR or similar style rims have become as if it's a uniform style in most of mod GT3/GT3RS or VW/Audi and BMW. I don't want to become "me too". Therefore, if you have more good style like AN14/24 with similar weight as R101LW, please inform me thank you very much for your attention and gentle reply!
