Correct and in a multitude of ways depending on how hard they want to look. There is a write counter on the ecu, the factory can compare your hex checksum to the checksum the factory tune should have, etc.

And these are the ways we know they can do it...

Definitely have to agree the Akrapovic is an incredible system and its pretty friggin loud! No tune and no CEL. Couple thousand miles now.

Didn't do ECU tune or need a O2 sensor. They exhaust has now been on the car for almost 3 days with 400 miles driven on them without throwing a CEL. These titanium pipes were ceramic coated as that's my personal preference and sound amazing installed. I will say that the sound level of these pipes are audible from a quarter mile away and I'm actually looking into soundproofing the cabin to drown out a bit of the noise to be honest. I will get more video when I get a chance and upload. If you want to PM me I can give you more info and get you more photos.

Sound proof the car? What do you plan to do?

Wow...what a thread....so confusing on what to do....LOL

I will track my .2 GT3 3-4 days a year...not a lot compared to my past. I like the idea of the valued side muffler deletes. So while looking at those I see that Dundon, TPC and Soul all look the same with the metal tube flex joint for fitment and less stress on the center muffler joint. But I’m not sure what valves these company use? Prices vary wildly too and I’m not sure if it’s because of the metal alloy might differ between brands...or someone is trying to make higher profit.

Fabspeed has a nice priced side muffler delete too with the same brand of valves Porsche uses but Fabspeed doesn’t use the metal tube flex joint and that worries me about stress fatigue of the center muffler joint.

I will think this over plus wait to see what the Christmas deals look like too.

I'd imagine the above race pipe from JCR is pretty loud but guessing its quieter than the similar Akrapovic setup that eliminates all mufflers given it uses a longer length and retains the stock headers and cats.

Hey Guys,

As promised I put together not only a release on our GT3 product line, but a nice guideline on making an educated decision between a side muffler and center muffler bypass. Go check out the thread and post any questions you have, I'm always up for an open discussion.

Sounds great!

Question: Your launch at the beginning of video hazed the tires in 1st gear quite nicely- did you have TC on or off?

That's TC and ESP fully off. No launch control (as I don't know how it works tbh).
