The dip was from cam timing on the 991.1, the 991.2 is running more aggressive cam timing, so no dip!

Also the 991.2 has far more ECU interaction, so more power is definitely available, just have to spend some time with the ECU to get her to like it...

That is awesome. Please let us know when you get dyno results for the Race headers without a tune. Curious to see max gains without an ecu tune and to see if there is any benefit of going race headers over street headers.

For all of you coming out to Rennsport next weekend, we will have our Voodoo 991.2 GT3 with full safety package, exhaust, etc to take a look at in our booth!

=Golden Boy;14613118]Akrapovic hands down the best exhaust available.
Akarpovics sound beastly compared to the Stock system. I am almost half deaf driving this thing on the streets. Here is a photos and youtube clip for you to see. Cabin noise is way up that you definitely dont need your radios

We’ll make a complete post soon. Ecu is in control for power gains

Jamie,

Without having to read 700+ posts, can you summarize what tuning is recommended with the catted headers? I understand the gains with just the bolt on, but am not clear if it would be advisable to have a tune. Thanks.

For cars under warranty we don’t suggest an ecu tune. An ecu tune can be detected by Porsche even if removed. So to prevent any unpleasant warranty discussions, our recommendation is to keep the ecu “clean”.

If we are able to complete some research projects this advice may change, but for now, I’d go with the nice gains from the catted system!

Thanks! Dundon is down to one of two systems I’m considering.

Jaime,

Is that fact that they can detect a tune that is flashed to stock?

Not Jamie, but yes, they can detect it.
