If I get an allocation I'm going to go to https://www.brookeraceexhausts.co.uk/ and have them make me an inconel exhaust, I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Can you please pm me your best pricing as I have shortlisted Dundon?

i deifnetly want a system that allows me to switch to a quiet mode and have it scream when the button is pushed.

Great Idea!

I am based in the UK so this would be interesting. Can you post more info or more on the positive feedback?

For a Rear Bypass there are several choices previously mentioned and you will not go wrong with either

I will tell you that the .2 GT3 is loud as heck. I just brought mine home yesterday afternoon and I have an RSS X-pipe bypass on mine. No way I would want some thing louder and I am a person who loves loud exhausts as long they still sound good

I do not think one will need anything more than a Rear bypass on these cars. No way would I need the car to be faster so Headers would not be my route like it was on my GT4
Important factors for me are:
1) not voiding warranty
2) being able to control the valve to switch between a loud and quiet setting
3) No Drone on interior
4) sound like the ipe when valves are switched to open
5) no warning lights
6) performance boost is a bonus but not a must.

It would help to have the two types categorized to start, bypasses and exhausts, as I have a difficult time identifying the differences.

As far as I can tell, the bypasses add some sound and retain the PSE function.

The exhausts also remove weight by reducing size of side mufflers, and add power.

Then, some exhausts leave the stock center section, while other replace the whole thing. Some exhausts do away with the cats completely but then require an ECU tune and tend to drone in exchange for significant power increases.

For me personally It’s quite confusing with this particular car, unlike others where it’s quite easy to drill down into the differences. I have a gmg center delete available to install but would be willing to buy something more complete if j understood the clear pros and cons of each solution.

So Brooke make bespoke exhausts, they can alter the sound to your liking, but there are plenty of examples on their youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCH3...BzyNOo5Ngp-FtA

Also being Inconel they're lighter than the competition.

i concur
two different engines 6 vs 8 pistons (NA458) and exhaust set ups

both have great notes either way.

My 7RS 4.0 was heavenly out of the box, particularly the gurgle and pops when lifting.

looking fwd to seeing how this 4.0 will sound.

Oh, and a follow-up question: do those silly and artificial gurgles and pops come from the engine management or the exhaust? My spyder did all those sounds and it was utterly annoying. But the GT3 as stock doesn’t make those sounds at all.. it seems like the more serious the machine, the less the do these childish sounds.. so I’m assuming they are all ecu-controlled?

Why does the GT3 not make them?... and do any of these aftermarket exhausts bring these gurgles and pops into the picture?.. because if so I’ll stay stock wth GT3. Thanks for any clarification.

My opinion is the GT3 does not have them because Porsche artificially produced them on the GT4 to compensate for the inferior motor.. I actually liked it but at times could get a little over the top. The GT3 does not do it but have had a couple with the Bypass which was welcomed

I beg to differ:

Look at this IPE GT3 overwhelm the Lambo and 458, even tho they are stock.

End of the day, Ferrari will sound better stock, and when you fully open up both cars, each has their own character where I want both but not either or.

Oh, yeah and it adds an additional ~25whp if thats important
+1 to this. Love the Dundon on my RS. Best exhaust I have had on any 911 I have owned. Best part about it is with the headers it is a lot quieter than the side muffler bypass I had on it before. Now the wife likes to ride in it again.
