really? That would be awesome. I am gonna look into lithium batteries then. It would be great if one can make their GT3 under 3000 pounds.

I don't know if it's achievable, but and Touring pack with, half tank of fuel, Full Inconel exhaust, lithium battery, FI-R wheels and all lightest spec (w/ no AC and stereo, pccb, light lights, etc), I don't see how one will be far from the 3000lbs.

The battery has a high CG so any weight savings is even better.

Add to the list, how much does the front axle lift weigh?

The .2 has the electro-hydraulic unit that is different form the .1

Braille makes some of the best(Plug and play). I have one of them and I believe they are a Forum Sponsor and you may be able to still get a discount

So it’s lighter than the previous generation FAL at 15-18lb?

I know it is a different one from my understanding. Hearing new and improved and raises a little higher.

I may be wrong on the weight. I just thought I read it some where

This build should be the lightest spec possible http://www.porsche-code.com/PJW348K5
AC delete not possible, that's a pity (for this exercise), but having a shop doing it and it should save some additional 60lbs (from the top of my mind).

Yeah sure. Lighter. I wonder sometimes if that "solid" information from "Porsche" sources is not just coming out of their *****. Some wet dream of a dude that on a daily basis is dealing with colour stitching.
