Here are pics of the ALP+Net Radar. So far so good. It is amazingly customizable with the BT module and phone app. You really can fine tune this way more than anything I have had. We will see how she works on the road trip. Two in the front and two in the rear plus front and rear radar.

All who have sent or posted notes, thanks. I enjoy sharing my love for DRIVING these amazing cars. Next Saturday we are headed out on a 3,000 mile Spring Break road trip. Started the tradition last year with another Porsche couple and hopefully it will continue for years to come god willing. I will do my best to post some pics along the way but for now here is the itinerary. Should be a total blast. Last year my wife really enjoyed keeping a journal of all the cool places we went (collected brochures), great landmarks, roads less traveled etc etc. We will be doing the same this time. Don't worry I will figure out how to drive an extra 61 miles just to say the trip was 3K miles :-)

Default Day 1 and 2

So far the trip has been epic. Left SoCal in the traffic but from Fraser Park to Atascadero via 58 was so awesome. Great roads, no traffic and some good video for later. First night was in Half Moon Bay and did dinner at Sams Chowder House. Then Day 2 was HMB via the 1 all the way to Benbow. Cool going over the Golden Gate, drop down onto the 1 at the coast and some great roads. Then the most epic stretch was from Westport to Legget on Hwy 1. Holy hell that was awesome. Twisty, zero traffic and perfect pavement.

Default Benbow to Roseburg

Nice day today. Went from Benbow to Roseburg. Drove on the scenic 101 route Ave of the Giants. Spent some time in the Redwood Forest. Then we headed up to Crescent City to see Battery Point Lighthouse. We missed low tide so we couldn’t walk over to it. Tomorrow we head to Astoria.

We did Astoria to Sisters, Or. Lots of rainy weather to start. Stopped by Rays Bridge which was amazing and then to World of Speed Museum and on the Sisters. Great roads.

Off to a wonderful start , so great to see such adventures, you are living that master card ad "priceless ".

sadly some ahead of you , one with such adventure on the leading edge
with an RS and 250 k views here following his Brand Ambassadorial escapades building
want and dreams , can't get an updated car.
P looking after Queens with there
garage virgins.
Sad , don't understand how you build presence and want hidden in garage, surely not selling parts and service to a two year old car with
4k on the O.

Here are a couple final pics and my final write-up of the road trip. We did 4 states (CA, OR, WA, NV) in exactly 2,800 miles in 8 days. We had a great time, slept in some great towns and had amazing roads. The weather on the tail end of the trip was not optimal but we made the best of it.

Overall about the road trip - The trip was amazing. We took a lot of back roads and tried our best to stay off any interstates. A couple of days we tried to do too many miles and it really turned into a "haul" to just get to our destination. We found the sweet spot of about 300-350 miles a day. By far the best stretch of road was from Rockport to Leggett on HWY 1 in CA. This road was well paved, completely empty and we had clear skies and warm weather. I have some video but my buddy and I just ripped it through here. Totally amazing.

About the car - we have now owned and done a long road trip (2,500 mile last year) in a 2015 Turbo Cab and now the GT3. Comfort wise they are both very similar. We had 14 ways in the TT and 18 way in the GT3. My wife and I both commented that the seats were close in comfort but prefer the 14 way. The GT3 is truly the best of both worlds. When cruising the car is amazing, calm, a slight bit more cabin noise but we found it fine talking while listening to the radio. Oh yeah the radio, it blows in non-Bose form. With FAL I found driving in the towns easier than the Turbo, more clearance. The difference when the GT3 is better is when you get in and on the twisty roads. Hit the sport button, the GRP exhaust starts to warm up its vocal chords and look out. The car just screams for more. You (or and least I) can not get the GT3 to say mercy. It just wants more. The lightness of the car just slices the twists and turns like nothing.

After math - Ok so for all you garage queens out there hopefully I have at least inspired one to get out and drive these machines. The experience, passion and memories will far out weigh the couple of bucks you save for a flip of a "low mile" car. Here is the deal and you will see from my pics. The car took a beating. We had rain, plenty of semi's to pass and even a hay storm, yes hay. The ONLY thing that did not survive was one layer (I have 2) of protective film on the hips. If you upgrade that hip plastic to double layer good quality stuff (my guy used Suntek and went up higher than standard) your car will look just as good as new when you return. I will put a full detail on the car today and other than the odometer showing all that happiness you would never know.

I can't encourage you all enough to just - GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!!!!

Final stats - 2,800 miles to the mile. 7 days, 5 hrs, 14 min.
