First of all I have to thank all of you. The knowledgeable ones, the cranky ones, the condescending ones and even the trolls! Rennlist is an amazing place and I learned a whole lot about my car very very quickly!
Some of you know I had a lot of debate with my car. Color, transmission, options.
Well it seems there was a higher plan for me.
As luck has it, or destiny I saw a black car with red striped rims that I became obsessed with. It was already sold to an acquaintance of mine. However, he needed knee surgery and I offered to swap allocations since this car was EXACTLY my spec, minus maybe the carbon fiber mats and LED lights. I kept waffling between black and red so when this car sort of became an option I aggressively pursued it.
And today, one of my childhood dreams came true and I bought home "ebony" my new dream car which isn't so much a dream anymore!
All i can say is WOW. I am in utter shock, disbelief and awe of this machine/work of art.
The sound, the feel, the look, hell even the smell are overwhelming and unbelievable to me. I can't wait until the break in period is over, already drove her about 100 miles and can't wipe the stupid grin off my stupid face.

I have to say Porsche of South Shore, NY was incredible from start to finish. I didn't make it easy at times and they were instrumental in helping me make a decision I would be happy with AND swapping allocations so I could get my car early.
For me, all that extra driving is amazing. What a treat this car is! I still have a head rush from driving her home and I kept it very very tame! Ugh I'm gonna go back and stare at her now with some bourbon in hand. No driving, just staring.
Get that car that Matt and Edddie at Detailing Dynamics. It’s black car, wrap the entire car. Tell them Craig from Las Vegas sent you.
i called them for an appointment waiting to hear back timeline wise.
i actually had called them previously based on yours and others recs but thought I was getting my car much later so told them I would give them a heads up a month out. They’re busy guys! Deservedly so, sounds like.
Hey congrats Doc! Any early transmission regrets? I think you had a hard time debating between manual vs. PDK.

So far, no way!
I’ve kept it in manual and shifted myself to try to keep it under 4K. The transmission is a far better man than I and shifts at a frantic pace. It’s aggressive and perfect. Plus I can concentrate on controlling the car when I track it. I’m sure at times I’ll wish I had a manual but the reverse would have been true as well.

Thanks me too! I was losing sleep after seeing this car in person and that’s BEFORE I found out I could have it. It’s so so gorgeous in person.
