Destitute, What specifically makes the GT3 motor better than the G Series motor in the 911R? Do you actually know what the difference is mechanically, please explain.

Everyone seems to think production numbers will be north of 2,000. Has this been verified as I don’t think that is likely considering the cost and how little supply there is in this batch.

One also has to ask why did the 3RS commanded a big premium for so long?

In places like the UK where ADMs don’t exist and cars are right hand drive, I wonder if that paints a different picture for the years to come.

Nothing wrong with thinking about or discussing future values. I will drive the crap out of it... or it will drive th crap out of me lol. But for mere mortals like myself with budgets, I like to consider future values.

I believe the GT2 RS is over priced before paying any ADM. Just another Turbo engine. If I could get one I would pass- no interest

Default Buy and use it

If you buy one of these, the trick is to decide quickly if you want to keep it. While a frenzy exist, you can usually get out fine. Buying cars on spec can be a dangerous game.

I personally can't see the big premium for a GT2RS at MSRP. I have less than that in my 488. I currently own a 991 Turbo. At about 170k. Also A 3RS at about 188K. If you see the value I hope you get one.

Wiki WW productoin figures on 3RS over stated. WW production is around 3500.
3RS does have motorsport derived engine. '15GT3R. Fact.
991.2 GT3RS likely will be very hard to get. Limited production time and run. Last of the 991RS yaddy yaddy and all that. Likely MSRP approx. $30K more than 991.1 GT3RS base. With limited production expect going prices with ADM $330K.

991.1GT3RS will be a bargain at $250K.

Yes but duties to get the car into Lebanon must be more than any market adjustment in Europe or North America 😉

”mere mortal” and owning a GT 2 RS don’t belong in the same sentence. ADM or no ADM, you are far from a mere mortal financially speaking.

Where do we think these values are going? Appreciate $300,000? $500,000? Stay level?

Curious thoughts of those who have been around these cars and what history has proven. Obviously the 918 is a benchmark, but a different animal than the GT2 I would think?
With 2.500-3.000 in the making, i don't see going anywhere higher than $500,000 (maybe less) and according the present situation, thank God the 997 GT2 RS is keeping it's value.
