Default New Silver GT3 Available - Washington DC Metro

Guys,

Tysons Porsche in the DC Metro area has a new silver Gt3 (looks like a GT silver) available for 30k over msrp.

I was there over the weekend. Looks like someone specced this one and eventually backed out of the deal

Msrp is $173k and as far as i remember it has bose, 18 ways, white dials, white chrono, red stitching to name a few. Suntek clear bra included.

The dealer has declined few buyers who offered 20k over as they are pretty firm on 30K over for now.

If anyone is desperate, you know where to go

Some pics for you to enjoy!

Looks like another buyer backed out. Seems to be happening about every other .2 GT3 that dealers are getting. What gives?? That story has gotten old. Can they at least switch up the storyline?? Get creative dealers.

Ideas:

Wife threatened to cut off husbands *****

Guy lost a bunch of $$ in Vegas

Wife found out no back seats

Wife never got her Hermes bag as promised

Car showed up without keyless entry

Dealer ordered wrong color

No leather dash

Looks too juvenile with rear wing

Was upset when finding out color was not PTS

Wife hates bucket seats

Buyer thought it was told it was as limited as the R

Buyer got pissed did not have Burmester

Buyers girlfriend threatened to dump him for a guy with a Ferrari

Buyer thought he was buying a McLaren.

Buyer found out a Tesla can take him at a stoplight.

Did not like ugly black door handles. Yes — worst option ever

Etc ..

They could not get the ADM on the front side, so just ordered the car themselves and hoped the frenzy would follow. One thing I have observed, most guys want their own spec.

There are two ways to have a car for stock.

1. Dealer orders it for stock. It will say on the order sheet that it is for stock and it (probably, not sure it is the case anymore but it was the case) not have voice control because that can be included only on customer cars.

2. Customer backed out. This ranges from 918 VIPs who don’t want the car because they have to keep it for sixth months and don’t see money in a flip, to basically shill buyers, to flippers who sell back to the dealer, to legitimate changed your mind customers.

So you can kind of tell whether it was a true customer car or not.

I'm more shocked that anyone offered them $20k over for a car with sofa seats and bloated options.

That dealer was hawking allocations at $40k-$50k over several months ago, so it may very well be a store-ordered car, if they couldn't sell the allocation and just had to build the car.

Of course it’s a dealer ordered car. Look at the spec.
