Using the above time differences for the GT3.2PDK and 991R over 100-200Kph, on a V-max run to 300 Kph, I would put the GT3.2PDK to be around 60 Mtrs at least in front of the 991R.
How are you finding the set up on the GT3.2. To be honest I have struggled a bit, adding to much rear Toe did not help, just made the back end snap out, when the same part section of track the 91RS just had grip and more Grip. Think its sorted now , well at least it gives me the confidence to drive at 10/10s. Feels very good on the road also.
Front Ride - 15mm
Rear Ride -12mm
Front Camber -2.45
Rear Camber - 2.15
Front Toe, Stock
Rear Toe, Stock
Shim Part Nos
996 341 543 91
996 341 543 99

But one point that is very important on RWS cars, is that Steer ahead is set to 0.00. I have had many RWS 991s that this is out on. In my experience it makes a big difference to the way in which the car drives.

Thanks Gents, makes sense. Intend to continue to tick off a few track days and a few targa's each year regardless of being a touring. I'm not expecting RS level dynamics but do like the confidence feeling of the rear end holding tight at 9/10th. So potentially less loose a caboose... Steering 0.00 noted.

Thanks CJ, riscan, Oldmxnut (et al) for the hands-on experience.
................................and to Mr Rouleau for calming the vibe.
The GT3T is exactly what I had hoped it would be. Relative to the R.
The same.....but ah (slightly) different.
Now to pick a color. PTS would be nice
Please carry on
Best,
Bret.

Jimmy, have to agree with your pricing thoughts although higher mileage examples may see a discount into the 2's in a few years.
Nonetheless the vacuum left by the R should be satisfied by the second bite of the apple - GT3T.
Given a choice between ordering a new PTS GT3T or used R I would, (will) have to go with new.
Just MHO, but it's my Frankenstein..............

if you spec the 991.2 Touring with PCCB'a and LWB's the difference is approx 20 lbs

between 62 and 124 mph driver changes 3rd and 4th gear to upper ones
most likely the wingless .GT3 T manual with less drag and less weight than .2GT3 wing and pdks, should keep the same 7.7
sport auto doing tons of testing should balance with fuel the eventual driver diff and for sure these times are not from a single but the best from multiple attempts
i"d still wanna put a couple of RS bmc air filters on The .2GT3 and repeat the test...
not to mention a permissive 997 RS exhaust....!

This has been discussed elsewhere. Porsche's practice was to list the weights as specced with the lightest components so in the case of the Touring that would presumably already be with the PCCBs and LWBs. As you know this is all changing and the manufacturers will need to list these specs for every configuration going forward.
