Looks good. I’m interested to see it’s Laptimes compared to your 991.1 GT3 and RS.

Thanks Haku...

Planning for sebring Jan 27/28 with Chin...

Very happy with the first 250 miles. Quite different than .1. Engine torque is totally different and the shifts are different. It 'braps' between upshifts. Not a blip, so not sure how/why they do that. With the sharkwerks (or likely any other bypass), the car sounds amazing. Surreal.

those waiting will not be disappointed.

Side stripes done...need to add a yellow number plate and some other cool stuff to finish up the RSR tribute.

Thank you... Doing vinyl work isn't too bad. Takes patience to do all the setup. I have a cutter to do the letters and some pieces, and using the knifeless tape makes things a lot easier.

Tons of youtube videos on using it. Just takes patience and attention to detail.

Plus, when I make a mistake, you'll never know about it. I'll just peel it off and start again. Let's just say I've gone through a LOT of vinyl/wrap material over the years.

Think I'm going to skip the window tint and go right to the rollbar. That's the plan for this weekend. I did it in my 991.1, so I expect this to be very similar. Takes around 4-5 hours.

Did you trailer the disassembled car to your Xpel installer’s shop, or did you do the disassembly there?

Since you didn’t remove the mirrors, where are the clear film cut lines on the doors — are they noticeable?

Great question... My SA asked me if I'd like him to sign it since he was around... Very fortunate.

I disassembled everything at his shop. Took around an hour - done using a shallow torx socket set, a 1/4" ratchet/extension, and a 10mm ratcheting wrench to remove the headlights. Pretty simple.

There is a cut above the mirrors that his hardly noticeable. The amount of work to remove the door liner and mirror wasn't justified for me to not have the slit there.

About finished with the paint prep. Removed intake scoops (see other thread) - have rear lid, rear bumper cover, and front bumper cover left.

Any reason you chose Girodisc over the AP racing rotors?

no specific reason. Bunch of people I know run Giro with no issues. Looks like AP makes a good product as well. Plus, Clark had them in stock.
