Default New to me .1 GT3 and Fresno Porsche

Well today we took delivery of our lightly used 2015 GT3. I have been shopping and wanting for quite some time. Can’t get an allocation, tired of dealing with horrible SoCal dealers and finally the right car appeared at Fresno Porsche.

CJ on here was just a huge help and his dealership was absolutely amazing to deal with. My wife even commented it was the best dealer experience ever. Through the years we have purchased 20 or so cars so that was quite the compliment.

We live in SoCal and dealing with an out of town dealer turned out to be as great as dealing with one down the street. Drove up to collect my car that was ready and most paperwork already completed. Pricing was great and all the folks we interacted with were amazing.

Those in SoCal use Fresno Porsche with confidence and don’t worry about the distance. You will not be disappointed dealing with them, a true gem in the Central Valley.

Customizing will come and will start a new thread for that. Cheers.

Nice pick-up and no shocker on Porsche Fresno, one of the best good guy dealers out there. Anyone that lives in So Cal should bypass all the stealers and give CJ their business.

Todd, thank you for your business and the kind review. We’re still a small dealership and can only grow with these types of testimonials so we appreciate it a lot.

Enjoy the GT3! You have a great spec for putting miles on it- the 18 ways and PCCBs will make for some fun road trips for sure.

It is exactly what I wanted. It is a high MSRP which I do like all the extras. If I ordered one I probably would not do the stitching just because it is so expensive but it really looks awesome. I had to have PCCB AND THE 18 ways. I don’t fit well in LWBs and the wife also said no go and she does most road trips and drives with me.

The car will see the track about 4 times a year so yes it will be used as intended.

So far the car is really different from the 15 TT Cab I am coming out of.
  • Interior noise is louder and less sound deadening. Doesn’t help that I have a rattle of some sort but my service guy will fix that up next week when in for oil change and a few other things.
  • The ride is actually better on the highway, you feel the sharp bumps way less than the TT.
  • Steering seems a bit tighter and more responsive.
  • Obviously the off the line snap you get from the Turbo is gone.

I plan to do a few things to the car.
  • The yellow calipers are getting painted red. I know many don’t care but it is a pet peeve. With all the white and red going on the calipers need to be red. That will be done next week at my service dealer.
  • A few graphics will get added. Still working on the details but the PORSCHE on the wing and a small something on the side.
  • It will then go to Moe at Glistening Perfection for a detail, fix the only blemish on the clear bra on the hood and add some clear bra back on the rear hips.
  • Lastly I will add the navtv to get the back up camera.

Should be all. I am going to start a small build thread when the work begins and load it up with pictures.

Congrats, neat ride, great specs and will look forward to your build thread. If I lived out West, I'd visit Fresno Porsche for sure.

Painting PCCB’s red? OMG no....why? The white GT3 above looked like my 2015 GT3 I sold (and miss). I loved the PCCBs painted in yellow...

That to me is like putting a GT3 decal on a 911s - in reverse.
