Moe,
My new 2018 GT3.2 which is GT Silver is scheduled to deliver here in Massachusetts on Jan 26th. Can you recommend anyone out here that you know can take good care of me?
Your work looks awesome!
Thank you,
Jerry

Default Headlight delamination question

I was recently asked my position on applying film over headlights. As many of you that are our client already know, we highly recommend it.

here’s a neat thread on some more info:

Default UPDATE - Gasol 1's 991.2 Carrera 4

Paint correction took several days, but results were amazing

Whenever we have issues with water spots, we do a pre-test prior to nano application to assure the imperfections have been eliminated. This pretest requires heating the affected areas to 125 degrees for about 5 minutes using an IR curing lamp

Unfortunately, the paint did not pass the pre-test. The clear coat has "memory" and once heated to temp, the deep water spots that have been etched in, re-appeared.

To truly eliminate them, we must sand the paint and get to healthy and unaffected clear coat. This approach is a roll of the dice, and you must sand, compound/polish, re-test, and keep doing this until the spots no longer appear. Alternative approach that does not require sanding, is to apply clear bra.

We polished the paint again, put clear bra sample, and tested the area to see if spots will appear UNDER the clear bra. After heating the panel several times at higher temperature for longer time, basically an extreme test, we resolved the issue.

The area that has clear bra was un-affected. This assures us that even though we cannot truly make the actual paint perfect, we can apply clear bra to entire vehicle, basically putting a blanket on the giant and keeping it asleep.

In great company

Default unlimitedlimeper's 911 Carrera

We love older 911s because the transformation is even more dramatic.

Initial wash of decades of grime

Wheels and wheel wells deep cleaned, polished, and nanod

Windows tinted using Huper Optikc Ceramic 40 and 60

Dis-assembly to begin preparing for the clear bra installation from the mirrors back

Paint correction

Talking Group Buy Update

AS of 12/20, see the UPDATED and CURRENT list for the GP Group Buy. On another note, I'm picking up my MB GT3.2 tomorrow...

QUOTE=RUF RS;14597043]Many of you are probably familiar with Moe @ Glistening Perfection, as well as the superb quality of his work. I was lucky enough to be part of a 'GROUP BUY' on my 2014 GT3.1....AND, since I am about take delivery of my (Miami Blue) .2, I thought I would start a thread, and try to get a group buy going (with discount) for our GT3.2's.

I can't give details of the exact discount, but it is well worth signing up for! If you are in So. Cal, and thinking about pricing for clear bra, tinting, nano coating and hardware installation,I promise it is WELL WORTH contacting Moe, and/or getting on the list for a group buy discount on our GT3.2's.

If you're interested, please add your name to the below group buy list.

Here's a link to Moe's web site, and NOTE: he SPECIALIZES in Porsche....
