Default Mostly OT - GBM on a '69 Camaro

I was watching an episode of Bitchin' Rides last night and saw something interesting. If any of you are familiar with the show or the shop owner Dave Kindig, you probably know that they are one of the best custom hot rod businesses in the U.S. They do incredible work, for an incredible price.

Anyway, they were doing a custom 69 Camaro RS and they painted it Porsche Graphite Blue Metallic. And it looked absolutely amazing on that car. I'm not a big fan on the 911, but it looked stunning on that car, particularly with the white/black striping and the chrome wheels. Fit the car perfectly. And they painted the engine a matte orange that contrasted really well in the engine bay. Worth a look for those of you who like GBM.

Nice! But no screenshots/pics?

Maybe it'll pop up in their video listings here.... https://www.velocity.com/tv-shows/bitchin-rides/

Was watching it in my office, no DVR or any way to record. It was a recent episode, this season, so it'll probably be easy to find on Velocity.

Same, I caught that episode last night as well. it was a nice transformation from the original green color on the '69 Camaro! GBM looked really sharp...Dave Kindig said he saw the color on a Porsche 911 turbo.

Since we're OT here, I have a buddy that misses his pumpkin (997RS), so he's selling his '69 Camaro to buy another RS.

Here is a link if anyone is interested (I can connect you via PM):

Love that show. A couple weeks ago they had a red nova with like 2000hp. That guy contacted me on instagram wanting to buy my Cobra. We started talking about the show and he indicated he had about 400k in that Nova. I was curious what Kindig charged per hour. He told me $130. I was shocked it was that low for the quality work he does. He said the car took 8 years but that was mostly his fault and had to do with the engine development.

I did a little research on the old interwebs a while back and figured out that most of his builds were in the $350-600k range. He's done a few trucks that I would kill for, but I bet they were in that $4-500k range.
