Hi Nick...mine is a 3RS as well. I had a typo. We will be production mates. I'm still not convinced our cars coming to the US produced from 1 Sept onward will have the particulate filter. If it is cheaper for Porsche to stay the course w/out the particulate filter for ROW I think they go that route. Just a guess on my part based on how Porsche specs each specific car's options with a wiring harnesses to match. No extra wires or connections so if they go to this level I can imagine they would do the same for exhaust...again only if if it is cheaper than adding the filter.

I believe only EU cars will have the particulate filter post Sept. 2018. ROW will not.

I could be totally wrong, but that's my understanding.

AFAIK, journalists (at least one that I know) don't get to drive the car until next month.

HA.......Kinda can't wait for the journalists to drive it...its either going to go with the 991.2 RS improvements are beyond belief , the 20HP and downforce is TOTALLY worth every penny , if your lucky enough to get one YOU ARE SO LUCKY..........or.........MEH....sure....feels a little better than the 991.1 RS but keep what you got. Or worse....get a 991.2 GT3 that's the best thing since slice bread since they put a manual in it......OMG where is my

That I don't know, although I heard the Ring time Run for the new RS will happen the end of this month.

Received a confirmation of my allocation a couple of days ago. We are asking for PTS with a December delivery.

Any news on PTS?

I was told PTS not available this year for GT3RS but again take it for what it is worth. I think it might be a case by case basis but could delay the car production

My GM offered me three different assembly months, the latest being December saying that would be our best shot. I’ve been through the PTS process once before and had to wait a bit longer than some other deliveries but it was worth it.
