991.2 GT3 RS

Image of the carbon asb's and drop links. Too sexy to hide underneath. I'd avoid the gravel traps w/this option. But no doubt Porsche has that thought through.
And the pricey badge.

You read it correctly. First set of bold print done this week. This Saturday we get calls for the allocation. Good luck if you are getting one.

At least the Mag wheels offer some serious weight loss...

Just got the call from my dealer. 1 slot available, looking for $100,000 over sticker. To me this seems crazy. Lightly optioned this car will run $300k out the door. Is this consistent with what others are seeing? Need to give an answer quickly, so any viewpoints are appreciated!

Appears dealers are auctioning 2RS and 3RS this week which one would think they would order and hold - maybe Porsche is requesting names.

Not sure how many rounds, that's typically between dealer and Porsche. This week is for sure round-1. Also For US, if your GT3RS is to arrive this year 2018, I was told there will be no "Particulate Filter." 2019 deliveries will be different. So if you want your GT3RS with no "Particulate Filter" tell your SA to move your slot fast if not faster.
So it's a one time Factory allocation to dealers - then the order books are closed?
Not sure what you mean by auctioning. I do know many dealers are tagging on ADM. In fact I just got a call from a dealer and asked me if I want an incoming 991.2 GT3 (Not even a 2RS or 3RS), and he wants $35K ADM. I said, good luck on the sale, just to be polite.
The regular buyers and VIP guys I am sure their names are already on the dealer list (VIP (First), Preferred (multiple buyer), Regular (Cherry Picking and walk-ins)) to be submitted and eventually get a commission number (complete with V status). Hope this helps.

The total weight saving for a WP RS versus a standard RS in the US is 17.6Kg which comprises the 6.1Kg on the carbon bits and bobs and the 11.5Kg for the magnesium rims.
This is exactly the same as a Euro spec RS without the clubsport pack..If however you compare both clubsport versions then the titanium cage saves a further 11Kg over thr standard steel cage giving a total saving of nearly 29Kg for Euro RS's.
I realise the the WP is much better value in Europe compared to the US if you've picked the clubsport pack..In fact if i was in the US i would never consider the WP but as i reside in the UK i'm seriously considering it..

I got the following information from my dealer (don't know if it's already posted, didn't feel like going through all the comments)
- WP only available in cars produced starting 06/2018 (not really news)
- WP magnesium wheels available starting 02/2019
- PTS is available from the start and costs around 11k euro in Europe
- No allocations have been given to the dealers yet

I'm either going for an all out Lizard non WP or a standard flat colour (guards red maybe) with the full WP..If i get an early allocation i will get the Lizard..If i get a later allocation then i'm going to have some sleepless nights ahead..

Congrats! Usually I wait a little bit to get the configurator complete for options. For example on 991.1 GT3RS the Purple color was not immediately available in the configurator so I went with the launch color Lava Orange (no regrets as I love the salmon anyways).
Since I learned the 2018 GT3RS USA deliveries will not contain the "Particulate Filter", as soon as the allocation is handed out, I will spec my car. 2019 USA deliveries from my understanding have the potential to have the "Particulate Filters" due to Euro-6 regulations.
