I thought the magnesium roof on the .1 was 1kg lighter than carbon? That’s why they went to all the trouble to make it. Now a carbon roof is lighter?

+1 hate reading those statements. Utter BS. Wish some notable publication would do an article on the realities of buying a Porsche GT car in North America.

Loess, you are correct the magnesium roof was a lighter solution than the carbon at that time. A great deal about Mg and the supply process was learned as well.
Time marches on, and a new layered carbon fiber process allows further lightening with proper stiffness.
It’s amazing to think what is possible today, and what is still to be discovered tomorrow.

Black WP is tempting me on this.

I agree wholeheartedly. Black or white. Everything else is wasting time. Except Lizard Green. Or Guards Red. Or Miami Blue. Or Lava orange. But that’s it. Except maybe Chalk or Racing Yellow if I had to. GT Silver would look good too. #somethingaboutahoneybadger

GT3.2 Touring plus GT3RS ... peas in a pod.... pretty much covers 99% of 2 seater driving preferences. Everything thing else is people/ cargo carrying alternatives.

There was one honest sentence in that marketing piece:

" * Dealer sets final price. "

Wait, what does MSRP stand for then?

Manufacturer SUGGESTED Retail Price - it's merely a suggestion. Although in some countries is a requirement.

The US Website is claiming the GT3RS has 700 HP and a 0-60 time of 2.7 seconds. Seems they posted the GT2 RS Stats. Someone will lose their job...

You can download the GT3 booklet on the German GT3RS site - instead of the GT3RS booklet - so it seems to be global.
