I highly doubt there’ll be a bar for NA. What’s changed for them to bother?
i think the regular car gets the mag roof and the WP gets a carbon roof. I thought the mag roof was supposed to be lighter than carbon so why is it on the WP GT2. I haven’t heard any marketing speak about it to explain it.

20.Feb - official press release. (i don´t have this info. but some in here said so. that this is the official embargo.)
and as long the first leaked release didn´t even contained infos about WP. (but i have seen already a yellow .2GT3RS with 997 graphics, cf standard GT2RS hood and GT2RS WP wheels within the factory) i guess the aussi leak wos not with complete infos.
maybe all the guys told AP after they showed to car to some important people: "come on Andreas - now you just want to milk those guys at RL... you have to bring a bit more than just green color with the MarkII"
AP: reading the mail - during enjoying the whole winter in the sun on skies because GT are selling too good. ---> answering: "ok... ok... lets make something "special". so take the cf stabis and rods, cf clear hood, Ti cage and rims from the WP GT2RS. screw it on the .2GT3RS. but charge 30k$ for it!! and move the embargo till 20th of Feb. our guys should be able to do this parts bin within two weeks"
back on the slope. swinging on skies.

I highly doubt the 4.2L is not a rumor. Like what Porsche did for 997.2 GT3RS.
3.8 first then 4.0 limited run

If the manual gearbox and transmison is already setup by Porsche from 911R, they have easily put same MT on 2GT3 i don't think will be such a shock if they will offer some RS edition whit MT, or even an MT option like in GT3.

i´m scared (or happy - not sure till now) that we will see two .2GT3RS launches/"versions".
somehow like normal .2 and special .2.
But my money i would put on: normal launch also incl. the WP to choose within 6 days.
And maybe there will come a limited run with 4.2
but just WP for the "second (limited) run" is to less - and makes the .2GT3RS launch a little bit mehh - as we saw in here.

Can't believe people are still going on about the 4.2. There's absolutely nothing to suggest that looking at the engine lineups of the gt cars and the motorsport cars.
WP only after sep18 with the particulate filter would be rather entertaining it has to be said to see if people would rather the WP or without the filter!

I talk to GM yesterday at dealer. No info he is aware of, I seem to know more because of RL! Only thing that I know, which is most important...I get allocation at MSRP. So the rest is just waiting for official info to drop.
