Correct, that’s exactly what they did with 991.1

I have heard that production of the GT3 RS cars will cease soon and not resume until February 2019 due to issues with homologation for WLTP. As a result, allocations for 2019 will not be known for some time. At least that is the situation in Europe.

+1 Not sure why Oto60 responded the way he did. Not necessary or appropriate.

In general yes, but the timing is different for each Porsche model. I was just highlighting that for the GT3 cars, there is going to be a delay to restart production until Feb 2019 which means cars will not start being delivered to customers until Q2 2019.

Probably because they need to pump out some US cars.

Many thanks for that great info..Based on your past success on future Porsche plans i'm reassured on getting one in the second batch...LG with WP is now a hot favourite although if i'm feeling tight fisted at the time, i'm still drawn towards either Black or Guards, both with WP and gold wheels.
I think your wheels are platinum which contrasts perfectly with both the LG and equally the exposed c/f..I'm not keen on LG with the Aurum wheels, however i love them on Black and Guards..

I've bought multiple cars from this dealer, including the GT3 and GT4 at MSRP, so I doubt that's his motive. Maybe dealers aren't getting a consistent message from Porsche? I do remain skeptical of the idea that there won't be any more allocations - doesn't seem to fit the history, and doesn't really make sense to me.

Although, still awaiting photographs of the LG/Gold Wheels/PCCB combination the attached link gives us a glimpse............very cool, IMO.

They do look great all lined up like that, and Racing yellow is real nice but LG is still my choice.
