Patience is a virtue my friend. Please do not lose hope. A person like who who tracks the car and represents the "durability and reliability" of these PORSCHE GT cars deserves to get one. Hoping goodwill goes your way.
Sure there are plenty of competition out there, Macs, AMG, etc., but as the saying goes, "PORSCHE, there is no substitute."
Drive safe,

I am a long term Rennlist reader and Porsche owner but this is my first post so please be kind :-)
I have been lucky enough to get an allocation for a September build of a .2 GT3 RS and have been down to the dealership and put in my order but have a few days to make any last minute changes and was hoping for some insight on things i might have missed. I am not planning to track the car, don't care that much about resale value (beyond the normal level of concern that i don't build something that i cant get rid of) but would really appreciate any comments

I have also been given the potential opportunity to go and see the car being built (not a delivery but more of a tour) and wondered if anyone has done it and if it is as cool as it sounds

Build looks great.
The black wheel with the green lip might be worth considering, and I've stopped buying the alcantara door panels as it's $700 for a tiny bit of fabric.

Thanks for the feedback - has anyone seen the green line on the black wheels. I had something similar on a 997.1 S years ago and it was pretty thick and ruined the lines on the wheel. May be more appropriate on this one as its not exactly subtle anyway
Agree on the door panels and a few other things - I was all excited when i was down there and was having them check boxes like a kid in a candy store

It'll look exactly like this but in green: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=230&t=1660586&i=6620

I have the GR lip on my GR .2GT3. I think they look great especially if you're going with black painted wheels. Without the painted lip, the car looks like it's floating with only black wheels. I ordered the LG lip for my .2RS.

Congrats, our builds are almost identical- I ordered steels because I track my cars. You must be a VIP to get the opportunity to see that car built. On my last RS in 2016 I was actually on vacation in Germany during the exact time my car was being built and in Exclusive- I asked if it was possible to come by and see my car and I was told "NO!!!" repeatedly. Enjoy!
Certainly not a VIP, just have a great sales team who are good guys and love the cars and they have a way to potentially make it work.

Why would you want a yellow marker on the steering wheel instead of the LG?
