Weissach Package a no brainer- their cost goes down with every wheel ordered.

Cage would be very cool to finally get here in the states

Active aero would be cool but they have not been testing that so unless it’s the air hose chin spoiler like the Turbo S...not sure they have it really Porsche Tested.

I think, in all seriousness:

Few more revs for a few more ponies, through better active exhaust, 520? 527?

Mag wheels for 24,000

A better color set or a livery sticker option (wishlist)

New rear bumper/ diffuser set up (wishlist)

New shock tuning

New sway bars

Same amazing brakes but software update

Lighter weight wiring harness (wishlist)

Maybe the surprise is that UV remains available at no cost and they looked over at the other brands and cleaned up the ****ty standard color choices without the $12K PTS charge, that would really be a surprise.

But, I think the surprise is Clubsport in a box.

They always limit to 4-5 colors right?

This time (hope)

Red
Non-Metallic Blue
Non- Metallic Green
Metallic silver/gray (meteor, seal, volcano, agate)
White

If they did this, it would solve 90% of the PTS requests

When is said surprise info being released? I have to decide whether to wait for the rs or pull the trigger on a .2gt3. I think MT would encourage me to be patient.

C.J.

Can you weigh in on the likelihood of a manual .2 RS?

Seems that many on RL think this is happening. Personally I do not because of how emphatically AP and other Porsche bigwigs stated just six months ago that the RS would remain PDK only.

I also think the .2 RS will stay PDK only because Porsche just developed the 6 speed manual for the R/GT3, and they want to see what % of .2 GT3s are ordered in manual before they decide if they will keep the GT3 manual option long-term, and they still be evaluating this by the time the .2 RS is announced in Geneva. AP has suggested in recent interviews that Porsche needs to sell a decent % of .2 GT3s in manual to retain that option for the future.

If the .2 GT3 sells a lot of manuals over the 2 year run, then I do think we may see a manual RS again, but with the 992 RS, not the 991.2 RS.

1) weissach package
2) upgraded aero/suspension
3) 30 extra ponies
4) real 9000 rpm (is the .2 gt3 8800? Seen a video online of a pdk seems to change gears before 9000 clearly)

final answer

^Agreed^

MT not a surprise.

Any of the following would be massively welcomed surprises:
Ti rollbar
Choice of wide or narrow seat
5-lug wheel option

I doubt it. Some 'good Samaritan' would see that thing in the car and call homeland security. They would probably have their robot blow up the car!

I'd go for a sequential gearbox and 5-lug wheels.

No, it’s a legitimate 9k redline - done it multiple times myself (PDK car in Leipzig)...
