New GT3/GT2RS Leads With/Without ADM

So the GT2RS that has been at Walnut Creek Porsche is still there after 6 weeks on the showroom floor.
I guess no one wants to pay the suggested mark-up, or not even the $45,000 mark-up that was paid on a previous GT2RS sale there.
Heard that the car is gonna wind up being sent to another dealer for a "trade" if it doesnt sell this weekend.
They also have a 2019 GT3RS on the showroom floor in white, with the Weissach package and gold wheels.
Economy getting soft?

There isn't another round of cars coming
With used cars..everyone is someone's leftovers
Some of us like virgins, dealers sell virgins

Dealer had no negotiating power and I walked—they wouldn't come down on the price below the cost of a new factory allocation.
Why would someone buy a used car for more than the price of a new one? The market on these cars is retarded.

Sometimes yes sometimes no. Dealers who took cars on trade (wholesale or retail) that had any built in ADM will eventually have to eat it (or at whatever part of it cannot be recouped from someone else).
Smart dealers know the market for all of these cars is not going up and won't hold out for the market to crash ... they'll move the cars and spread the pain.

No they don’t.
However, dealers know it is highly unlikely they would get additional GT allocations if they don’t have buyers for their current allocations. Despite some of the claims in this forum, dealers do not order GT cars for existing clients without their knowledge. Porsche often sends gifts and correspondences to GT buyers beforehand so the last thing a dealer would want is a gift sent to an unsuspecting client who then demands the car.

How many people received the GT3 kit with the hard bound brochure, model car etc and did not get an allocation. I received the package 3-4 months before I got my allocation.

I’d agree at this point there are many selling for msrp and below in the used market. A few pts’s selling for below nationally. However the touring is still holding strong at this point.
