Finally for better or worse found a GT3RS 225 msrp GTSilver with Sofa seats- Got car for net 5k due to broker. Gets paid for next week.
Was quoted here in Florida by dealer with less specd car 211 msrp but same seats 20k over. They would not budge.

good info. thanks!

Your seller was smart and the FL dealer perhaps not so much.....will be interesting to see the next few months of the market play out. Spring driving season vs recession. which will hit first?

More just awesome comments on all these for sale threads. Got to love how you can say things like this that are totally unfounded and not reality (and a unsuspecting sucker could read and think it is actually a good deal) but when you make a comment warning of such fleecing on the price in a negative way it gets deleted and you get a vacation.

"
Wow that’s a great price, car like that should’ve been listed for $500K!"

What is your point? You lost me there. I detect sarcasm for one reason or another.

SoCal dealers have a few GT2/3 RSes on lots that are sitting with ADM, but I think they would be willing to move at MSRP to a buyer that could move fast.

Highly unlikely. SoCal dealers have no problem sitting on inventory for many many months.

Fair. They seemed motivated when I walked in yesterday, but might have just been trying to get me on the hook.

Yes sarcasm. It was a quote from some jackoloon in a for sale thread commenting on the price of a car that was WAY over priced.

In theory and based on history there has to be a recession that comes at some point...people have been talking about the upcoming recession for at least the past year.

This is an economist forum, not a Porsche forum.

all it takes is the fed to stop QT, pause rate hikes and everything will be fine. I’ve been waiting for recession for well over a year now. We’re now talking about rate cuts. If that happens market will run until election time.
