I was thinking the GT3 numbers probably have some RS's included that aren't shown on the RS line

We'll need CY's 15 - 17 in order to get the full picture. The .1 was produced as MY14-MY16. edit: (If we want to compare .1 to .2)

The 16s were all very early 16 and there were very few produced. Sure maybe one or two sat on the lot for a year, but I doubt it is making a big difference.

Yes this car does have a 6 figure mark-up but price is highly negotiable.

I live in SoCal, the land of exotic/hypercars everywhere you turn. But even so I rarely see 991.2 GT3s. I've seen maybe 3 since I bought mine in November of 2017 and one of them lives in my neighborhood so it doesn't count.

I believe it is still pretty rare unless folks are keeping them locked up in their garage hoping for low mileage and massive value increases. :P

Lots of folks use these on track only. Not sure how it is in Cali, but here in the NE, there are many many .2 3's at every track event I am at, and I'm at quite a few.

I don't recall seeing ANY of them on the street. Only track. I'm talking strictly about the GT3's.

I personally know of two particularTourings that sold for $35K over or more, one back in March and one last month. Both local.

I know of a GT Silver PDK winged that sold for 30K over in May and another winged PTS that sold for $8K under MSRP in August........softening now in some parts of the country and in Europe they are selling second hand below MSRP by almost $10-15k euros.............

I do see 991.1 and 991.2 GT3s (and 991.1 3 RSs) very often here in Atlanta, but that may be because of the great tracks we have here, including Interstate 285...where 80mph is the flow for traffic.....and a GT car is required to commute)

Funny how more GT3's than any other single model, but the others depreciate a lot more off the bat.[/QUOTE]

Most of the other models are variation of each other in terms of body styles. Only two models (GT3 and GT3RS) actually have the 4.0 9K redline engine, so if you add the turbo charged engines all together, there are a lot more of them this year, and one can even add the ones from last year when no GT3's were made at all.

Still the R is the only 911 car that is truly limited production, rare or collectible (appreciation potential) and maybe exclusive series Turbo S Cars this past few years....

It is a listing of 991 model series delivered. That is the "last" 911R delivery which has the most CXX option imaginable.

Drive safe,

Cleaning lady post from 992 forum. Seems connected and legit. Would make sense as they probably need more time to iron out. Current 991.2 will keep pumping out longer I'm sure. No 992's to get in the way
