Just got an offer from a none Porsche dealer at MSRP for a very highly spec Graphite blue metallic, manual with less then 2k miles. I am looking for Miami blue, Mexico Blue or Carmine red and GBM is not really my color.
MSRP is $183,330 and at this price with out PTS is a highly spec car.

I have a lead on the west coast for a physical, ready-to-go 2019 GT3 RS. Lizard Green with Ceramics, Bigger Tank, Lift, Black/Lizard Leather, PDLS, and much more. 220k sticker. 25k over, perhaps down to 15-20. PM if interested.

Just got "offered" spec'able "2019" GT3 RS for $30k over. Not interested, and don't believe it's much a deal, but wanted to offer to anyone interested.

Too bad it's manual. All these people speccing manuals thinking they were going to be like the R. Unfortunate. I wish there were MSRP deals on PDK's in some good colors.

Really surprised that the new landed rs's are going for 25k over. People were paying 40-50 for the ability to order ones and when the 16's first came out, people were paying 75-100k over for on the ground cars. Maybe not as much demand as the 16's?

Here is another flippers car. All the work up to getting these. All the posts about dream car.....blah, blah, blah.

Back to the dealer and we know how that works. The good guy dealer that sells at MSRP now has a low mile “market” priced vehicle and they split the profit. He must have forgot he ordered the GT2. That will be at the dealer with a huge mark up in 6-9 months.

sad thing is we are getting all these ****ty specced cars that these people had no intent on keeping rather than a spec going to someone who could order exactly what they want and actually drive the car instead of making this a business.

Lots of factors I'm sure but one big one is the GT2RS for this .2 gen, had that car not been the 3RS would have been the halo GT with far more demand and similar ADMs to the .1 IMHO.

I was definitely surprised as well. I was offered a changeable GT3 for 15 over last year. It surprises me that a 3RS specced how I would do it is only 10k over more. Seems like the better deal and will probably hold its value better, even if you drive the car.

That's what I don't understand. People who get this stuff at sticker can still drive a few thousand miles and make most, if not all, of their money back.

I wonder how those that agreed to pay $50K+ a few weeks ago feel now (some still in production and not even delivered). We can all flush money down the toilet, but damn...

IMO one factor (at least in my eyes) is how similar the 991.1 3RS and 991.2 3RS look. Compare it to 997.1 and 997.2 3RS and you'll see much smaller changes. So you're paying for the performance gains which some might realize they will never see on a street and have to work at on a track to taste. So if I owned a .1 3RS I don't know that the headache to hunt the allocation down and pay the ADM+taxes would be worth it. And for new buyers, it's a $200k+ car which will obviously eliminate a lot of potential buyers who want to drive and use the car. Who's left? Flippers/dealers...

Just a guess on my end

Yeah, got to hurt especially since 90% thought they would get close to there money back when they sell.

Definitely makes sense. Plus the gt2rs release and gt3 manual I think. Plus competition from other manufacturers...
