Default 2014 GT3 Prices?

Hi - I'm selling my 2014 GT3 (October Delivery) in the Marketplace section - initially I did a market sweep and priced accordingly at $138K for a 6300 mile car. However, i've dropped down by 8K to $130K as I need a quick sale. I can't find another car with this kind of mileage or condition anywhere near $130K - yet the 'chancers' who contact me are saying the market is at $120K for a 2014 GT3 (that seems more like 2010 GT3 prices on a extensive searches!!)

So - opening the debate - what's the current value of a excellent condition late model 2014 GT3 with relatively low mileage?

It looks like your MSRP was about $137k. Where on the internet do you think a 2014 GT3 with 6300 miles would still fetch more than MSRP?

It's good you lowered your price to $130k but I doubt many will be interested even at that price. Look at comps around that same MSRP. $120k probably isn't too far off.

Build attached.

EDIT: read your ad. Replaced bumper is another reason why people may not be willing to pay $130k

I'm retired and spend more time shopping for my next Porsche than most. I'm on my 4th Porsche since retiring 3.5 years ago. It would depend on options, CarFax, service and track histories. Whether brakes show heavy track use, and clear bra vs frontal scrapes and chips. But my guess is closer to $130 than $120...

Honestly, pricing is all over the map. It's unknown territory right now for the GT market, as there has never been this many on the market. Couple that with the return of the manual and the top end engine issues inherent to the 9991.1 (even with extra 10 year warranty) it's nebulous at best. I know trades are getting significantly lower and lower as the market is flooded with 991.1 inventory.

I saw a Red 2014 GT3 recently that was in the mid $120's - but that car was on it's second engine and had clocked up almost 40,000 miles. Is this is where people are getting their prices from? I'd like to see another car with 6000 miles on it close to $130K.

What is your MSRP? Can't look at just the overall price. There are 14's (worst of the 3 years) advertised for about 15% off retail and not sold.

I am in the market and looked at your car. I didn't post on your thread but I will tell you what turned me away besides not having PCCB's is the front end bump. It appears like a REALLY small deal but unfortunately when the inventory is so robust you add that to it's a 14 and I was moving on.

Hope that helps.

First 5 cars on this search are <$135k and have around the same miles and more options.

These are just asking prices. Sale prices will be lower.

MSRP was $137,945. I know the curbing and replacement bumper might be an issue for some - but what my car does now have is a perfect front facia with no scraping and lip damage as most receive over a few thousand miles.

I'm guessing you'lll get $127k on the high end. You have to account for more depreciation than that. It's a stripper with no bucket seats or front axle lift.

You need to go off % of MSRP. $120K is right for low MSRP. 130K is trade for those miles at a $ 150 MSRP.

Here is one similar to your mileage at 132K.

"dreamers", "spectators" aka potential buyers such as myself know that prices are coming down. Trying to get close to MSRP sounds good in theory but not so much any more. GLWS

If you are here in the States and can trade-in and pick up the tax credit that is the route i would take.

I do not have patience for a private sale and the numbers always work out the same but with (0) freakin headaches

DesmoSD - I agree with you (initially I found a lot of cars at, or close to MSRP) therefore on a more in-depth review of the market is why I'm dropping $8,000 below MSRP - hoping this was getting my car in the ballpark.

OP, if someone offered you $120k you wouldn't move it?
$17k for 3 years of driving.. should have been worth it..

Since this is not your FS thread and I wouldn't comment in that, I am going to guess your car sells for $117.
