Moe let me know yesterday my car was done and ready for pick up Had the car/wheels paint corrected, windshield replaced, light tint applied, PPF to front clip + rockers etc, and nano coating on top all done by GP. She's beautiful!! Almost there for me. Goes in for LWBS swap and minor alcantara upgrades then finally ready for the road. Will be close to 4 months of a wait, but who's counting
Great spec, congrats! How did you get the RS straps in place of the metal door pulls on your Touring, CXX? Is it relatively easy to swap them over?
Up until end of March this year, you could CXX RS-style door panels with the fabric pulls. They stopped it when, reportedly, they realized it was a more complicated change to implement due to window mis-alignment or somesuch thing.
Did you get the CF shifter via CXX? I ordered it that way, but they told me that I couldn't get a black shift pattern (as on the 911R). They said it had to be silver. I noticed yours is black.

I'm told they're not available via CXX anymore. No you can't swap them - the door shell is a different part number for straps vs. standard door handle. You would need new door shells.

I think we were all told the same thing initially. All I know is the car was delivered with the **** it has now as I did not want the carbon **** with silver. The dealer made some crazy things happen so I learned to not ask too many questions - that being said I wanted my a/c vent stitching to be lava to match the rest of the stitching but a mistake was made and it came in black as you can see from the photos. I am told a new set of correct vents is being built for me, but I'm not counting on these coming in any time soon!

Thank you. It's actually Grigio Telesto Metallic. Looks flat until you get very close. It has very fine metallic flakes. Will add 911 R style rocker panel stripes in matte black with yellow Porsche letters.
