The official 991.2 GT3 owners pictures thread...

Drifting
I've had the car for about 2.5 days and I've put 350 miles on it. Most of the mileage has been on twisty back roads. But living in San Francisco, I do have to drive through the city to get on the highway and out into the "country." I knew that going in, regardless of what car I decided to go with. Everyone said I was crazy for wanting a high-performance sports car, living in SF. And that I would regret it. And that I would regret getting a manual as well, due to all the hills and traffic.
Screw those people. The GT3 is fantastic.
Considering it revs to 9K, I'd say it pulls pretty hard—even just under partial throttle—to 4K RPM (still doing break-in). And looking at the HP/TQ charts, if I have an ear-to-ear grin while under 4K, I'm sure I'll be even more impressed once I can hit 9K and actually feel 500 HP. There was another forum member from Australia a while back who complained about the gearing and lack of power and how the car was horrible on the streets. And he switched to the AMG GTR. I have zero regrets. I knew what I was getting into. And the GT3 is a beast, even without exceeding 80 MPH and 4K RPM. Fun is fun. Still looking forward to really opening it up, though.
The manual transmission is flawless. The clutch is great. One thing I love is you can pop it out during shifts and the car doesn't lurch—it's smooth as butter. My previous car had some sort of damper on the hydraulic clutch line that prevented this. If you didn't ride the clutch out like a granny, the car would lurch. Shifting in this car is effortless and fast. I'm no heel-toe expert, but I can rev match fairly well. That said, I do enjoy the auto-blip feature of Sport mode. No problems with starts on hills either. And SF has plenty of those.
The engine and transmission noises are euphoric. There is a slight underlying growl that just wants to let loose. I can't wait to rev the car higher. I also have a BBi/GRP center section on the way.
Handling is outstanding. The car feels like it's riding on rails. It's also surprisingly supple around town. Even in SF, with all the crappy streets and hills and potholes and manhole covers. No problems there. It's definitely not as harsh as many people made it out to be. But I'm guessing the 991.1 was a bit less forgiving? Though, I did drive a 991.1 GT3 RS and the .2 GT3 feels quite similar. So maybe I'm just more forgiving than a lot of other people...
The interior is gorgeous. Spec'd all leather/alcantara. Even all the leather/stitching options for the top of the dash and transmission tunnel and steering column, etc. People say the stitching is visible as a reflection in the windshield. I haven't noticed it. Not a problem. I've done some 4-hour drives in the LWB seats and no real problems. Sure, they aren't sofas. But hell, 4 hours in any car and I would need to step out for a stretch. I have the TrackSpec recliner brackets. But not sure I even need to install them as I'm pretty happy with everything as is.
FAL works well. It's fast. I did scrape once or twice going in/out of parking lots. And I foresee needing to buy another front lip to keep it in the closet. But it's not an expensive part. Kudos to Porsche for making this thing out of cheap plastic to be honest.
The worst part about owning a GT3, so far, has been the traffic. This car yearns to go fast. Every time I get to open it up a bit I can't help but drop a slew of f-bombs. I'm in love!

Thinking about doing a drive across Europe in my GT3 and ending in Romania and getting my car shipped back to the UK afterwards.
