I can also assure you if your dealer is a top 10 in the US they received a minimum of 20 3RS allocations and over 10 2RS. Regarding .1 3RS PAG always reserved two separate banks of VIN’s for NA. (GS187061-188000 & GS192061-194000) That was never the case with .2 (KS164001-170000).

i haven’t heard many say there will be over 1,700 3RS in the US and after tracking 3RS production since June I’m personally estimating up to 1,775 for N.A. This will break out to roughly 200 for Canada and 1,550 for the USA.

to date there are 1,350 NA GT3RS that have already competed production. Q4 2018 alone they built 750 for N.A.
January they do seem to be a bit slower but will still exceed 100 units and the factory was closed from 12/20/18-1/6/19.

Assuming they continue to build through April/May and average just 100 units per month which is very low output for PAG then we end up with ~1,775 NA 3RS.
Sorry, to be clear, my numbers were not total cars they have had allocated , only allocations for actual cars to be built in 19. They have sold dozens of 2 and 3 RS's because of their size and the number of VIP's they have still on the books.

I do think we get to the same rough numbers, 15- 1600 USA cars.

Thanks for all the info.

Cheers

I find it interesting that GT3RS vins haven't gone past 165599 in a month or so now. The cars built over that last month or so are all earlier vins; possibly clearing older locked 808 option cars. In the past I've always seen the vins run out well ahead. If they were to stop at 165599 that would be 1536 total cars with around 190 more which have been skipped. It's possible they've added a couple hundred for Feb-Apr?

January production is at around 80 cars with Dec and Nov well into the 200's.

yeah I was curious about the vin stop as well, if they were to build every reserved VIN and only up to 5599 they would be up to 1,600 NA GT3RS
Currently about 250 open vins from 4000 through 5599 but they don’t generally build every single vin and don’t usually go backwards so I’m sure they’ll pick up with 5600+ here shortly.

Here's North America's stats for the 991.2 911 series as of January 20, 2019:

My 12/21 MY19 GT3 PTS build was pushed into January, and now February. Any speculation as to why this may be the case?

As usual, thanks for the data, Cams!

2,133 NA 991.1 base GT3 which matches with my numbers as well as Pors9 so I think we can call that one confirmed.

Cams also posted NA 991.1 production (excluding 2012MY 991) but RS and R seem to be quite low compared with Pors9 numbers. Would love to hear from Pors9 regarding this post. Cams 991.2 numbers and my GT numbers match exactly.

I guess because some people see it in non-GT cars that must mean it's needed in a GT car. What about trying to keep the weight of the car down? haha

Batching of paint colors (some other cars may have a build in your color, especially if it is possible) and general backlog on PTS.

I'm sure this info is buried in here somewhere, but does anyone know the split on .2 GT3 b/w full leather and the standard interior?

I’m working on an update soon... I ran into a technical issue with how to ascertain the transmission of the car given an inconsistency in how they are represented in the data. More soon.
