The "Unofficial" 991.2 GT3 Production Number Stats
#811
Nice work Ryan!
I’ll be posting my official 2019 GT3RS production numbers with option % in just a few weeks. Keep an eye out!
At first glance everything for 3RS except wheels looks in line with what I have. I’ll check my database later today. I also may be willing to take over tracking 2RS for you as I know you’re already inundated with base GT3. PM me.

Great work ryantt! Interesting to see that there are only 123 PTS Tourings through December and it is about 70/30 wing/Touring for PTS. Looks like PTS Touring may be more rare than some thought.

I have yet to see a Touring or an R in the wild in LA. Even winged GT3s are pretty rare to find in the wild in LA (and I work in BH which along with Newport Beach is a treasure trove of "exotic" cars). There are 491 Tourings thus far in North America. I wonder how many in ROW? When it is all said and done, if the ROW is, say, 500, the number of Tourings produced may be about the same as the R. Not saying that the Touring will be as "valuable" as the R (I do not think it will be because, at the minimum, the R is a numbered car). But in terms of sheer numbers, it may be about the same. Will be interesting to see if the Touring model is an option for the 992 as well.

NA allocation is 30-35%
total NA 991.2 GT3 production will be around 3,200, total 991.2 GT3 will be ~9,250 WW.
Touring is about 20% so expect ~640 for NA and ~1,850WW.
991 R was 323 N.A. and 991 WW.

Thanks a lot for the information guys.
If the total production of 991.2 NA GT3 comes to 3200 or so, does that mean that there's still 500 more incoming?
I'm asking cause I read here and also heard that they were only going to produce a few more in 2019 ...

1 out of every 8 991’s are GT.
2019 Speedster - 1,948 / 680
2019 GT3RS - 4,650 / 1,650
18/19 GT2RS - 3,151 / 1,200
18/19 GT3 - 9,251 / 3,235
2016 911R - 991 / 323
2016 GT3RS - 4,550 / 1,529
14-16 GT3 - 6,459 / 2,133
991 GT = ~31k WW est. / ~10,750NA est

Correct, and/or builds that have happened in the last few weeks/months that don’t show yet. I still expect 991.2 GT production to continue through March/April. Unless something major changes in the production output I’m still sticking with a minimum of my original estimates. (Here are my newly revised estimates).

will there be anyway to know the final number of NA Touring cars? by the time I received my allocation in Sept PTS was no longer a choice. Car is built and on the water but is there the same delivery issue with Touring cars that they are talking about with GT3 RS?
