yes, from our sources and data we are quite confident there are under 5,000 total worldwide units of each 991.1 and 991.2 GT3RS.

sounds like your source may have been thinking 991.1 base GT3 (non RS) which was indeed ~6,500 WW.

There is another round of production later this year for 991.2 gt3/rs complete with particulate filters according to Total911. Saturation is the cure to ADM/flippers which was mentioned a couple years ago by Porsche

Curious whether any of the new batch of GT3RS come to the US. There is at least one person who has a confirmed ROW second batch GT3RS and has PTS so presumably PTS is available for this second batch.

Sure hope that happens in Canada. There are 40 GT3's alone (not including RS) from 19/19 sitting in dealerships all over the country with markups from 20 - $50k. And Canada's economy is weaker than the US and consumers more indebted as well. It looks like the dealers tried their old trick of selling at MSRP to 'favoured' customers and taking it back at a markup hoping to flip and now have a bunch of inventory, taking up space and not moving.

Porsche said they weren't a hedge fund so didn't like their vehicles trading like investments...but it turns out they're actually a short hedge fund
