Awesome! I can’t wait to see the rest of the GT numbers. NA 3RS is currently at ~1,350. January was a slow month.

I will post my official January 3RS update this Monday.

Below are 2018 991 US sales figures by trim. These are not 100% correct, but are directionally correct. The official sales numbers and my difference is noted at the bottom.

What's with the random R in May of 2018? Is that a typo?

sales data. Not production data. Was likely a dealer car or lost leader that had to be sold as 2RS and 3RS became available.

Here is the updated data as of Feb 1st.

The biggest change is the transmission ratio, not because the number of cars built with a specific transmission changed wildly, but because I miscalculated it.Somewhere along the way, the build sheets changed the way they represented which transmission is on which car.

There are build sheets that denote a car has a PDK trans, but then add a manual gear box as an option. There are build sheets that do the opposite, and some that only list 1 transmission. It's a mess, but I think I have it sorted now.

Great data, thanks ryantt. It looks like, so far, PTS GT3 Tourings make up 5% (147 of 2915) all of GT3s in North America, for whatever that is worth. My PTS GT3T should be one of those lucky 13 that were built last month.

Great work Ryan!

I'm surprised there are 625 Touring...more then I figured. I wonder if that number will go beyond 700?

By the end of production about 25% of (~3,200) 991.2 GT3’s should have the Touring option.
Estimating ~700 for USA and ~70 for Canada.

Re transmission ratio: That's a big difference since the last report! I think that showed <40% for M/T (which surprised me a little then). Now it feels better Thanks for clearing this up and thanks for the effort. of compliling/present the numbers

Thanks Cams! your data is every bit as vital as mine (or Ryantt/Loess/Pors9) you’re the only one I know that can confirm actual hard production numbers which always seems to match our numbers. Keep the data coming and I certainly will as well.

here are my most current estimates

2019 Speedster - 1,948 / 685
2019 GT3RS - 4,900 / 1,730
18/19 GT2RS - 3,600 / 1,250
18/19 GT3 - 9,502 / 3,350
2016 911R - 991 / 323
2016 GT3RS - 4,600 / 1,529
14-16 GT3 - 6,459 / 2,133

991 GT = ~32k WW est. / ~11 NA est
