this is my first post .... been following this thread and others .. I received notice that my GT3 touring would arrive around sept 21 ... I plan to pick it up a the Atlanta Porsche center....
my car is guards red with the std chrome package and extended leather interior .......
I have several other Porsches but my first GT car. this is the only touring model of the 4 GT3s my dealer knows he is getting this is his 2nd allocation ... ..
this should be a fun car.....

Well, my sales guy called and I now have an allocation with a December build, January 2019 delivery. I have given up on this, joined the ranks of the Porsche disenchanted....what a surprise. I have until late October to lock down the order, so the build game begins again. Giving up my 997.2 GT3 is going to be... not so easy.

Well, my sales guy called and I now have an allocation with a December build, January 2019 delivery. I have given up on this, joined the ranks of the Porsche disenchanted....what a surprise. I have until late October to lock down the order, so the build game begins again. Giving up my 997.2 GT3 is going to be... not so easy.

Also just got an allocation for January 2019 delivery (Touring). Pretty pumped. Almost went nuts and did the 14k for custom leather to get actual leather seats, then sanity returned, its going to be cloth centers for me.

People posting that they received an allocation has absolutely nothing to do with production number stats!
...unless we are counting them by the piece.
Thread startet out great but at the moment not much to say about the subject.
Why not put it at rest until real news emerge.
So, people please go find another thread to celebrate your allocation.
I am sure there will be some infos by end of the production run.

are the jan deliveries going to still be 2018 or are they 2019’s? Im picking up a PTS manual next week and can check the vin. Its been sitting for a month or so at the dealer.

Yes, some allocations in December and maybe late November were release a few weeks ago. All in I am guess 200 or so based on how many my dealer got.
