Manual uptake of 39% is what I would have predicted. Good enough that Porsche should keep offering the option.

It should end up higher than this since the first batch of cars were old only.

OP, anyway to see the mix of manual vs old post manual production start?

And thanks for doing this! The gt4 database was super interesting to follow and one of the threads I came back to most often as it was fun to watch the progression of builds.

The mix for manual cars is skewed because North America has an abnormally high number of people who wants a manual. Combined with world wide numbers that % will drop to perhaps 20-25%.

There is no CARRERA white metallic, it is Carrara white metallic

The Carrera Panamerica race is different than the Italian marble fields located at Carrara

Wow only 1% lava orange ...did I make the right choice :(

RealityGT 10-19-2017 09:59 AM

^Lava IRL, is quite nice.. i don't think you made a mistake.

^^regarding color choice, Less is more.

Cormid 10-19-2017 10:03 AM

How many PTS requests?

Oldmxnut 10-19-2017 10:06 AM

39% manual, and haven't picked up the touring orders as yet. Previous poll showed 20-25% trough, so would easily be 50/50 you would think by end of run.

Rhodium still no love at 1%..

People may have picked chalk as unique but ends up on one in 7 cars, maybe less given touring/chalk goes well.

You mean lesser the numbers the better in terms of color choice ?

Admins - please make this thread a sticky.

Two of us Rennlist members took it upon ourselves to track all 991.2 GT3 VIN cars destined for North America. User Loess has done a fantastic job of starting this analysis off and as its a cumbersome task (at least 2 hrs per day) tracking these cars, I've offered to help. Together we have pulled VINs for over 560 North American GT3's that have VINs created so these stats will get better by the day.

The factory literally makes 10-15 GT3's per day on average but its not consistent. What we have pulled is data for cars built to date and not the number of allocations. This is to be determined and will likely not be known until production stops or VIN's are no longer generated.

Is there a factory option you'd like stats for? Let us know.

As of today's date (October 18, 2017) we have not seen any Touring Spec cars yet as its showing available as of November. Option code is 032.

The stats:

Nice work, you're making my PTS check in thread look like amateur hour!

Kudos, great info.

Exactly, Exclusivity. You don't want to be black flagged on the track because of another Lava Orange GT3. Ask me how I know...

How about we start to feed you data for PTS? We should start seeing PTS in December as that's when the window opens correct?

WenigerAberBeser 10-19-2017 11:26 AM

Thanks for putting this together! The data will be interesting as more come in. If you need someone to graph it out let me know.

Although Chalk is #1 color right now, 22% will actually look 'white' when combining 2Y and 0Q.
