This thread is so pointless, like 99.99% of the value posts lately.

I am looking for a used Space Shuttle(with unspent rocket boosters), preferably with less than 2 round trip missions and CPO, can one you pricing guys post some links and what price YOU would be a buyer.

Performance wise, You are probably right that it ain't worth 20k.

Let's go back to my scenario of a 2015 car with 10k miles

2500 per year on general depreciation x3 = 7500
Full warranty = Let's say 3k here (Which is about the cost to certified a car last I check?)
10k miles @ .50 cents a mile = 5k

That's 15.5k and let's not forget it is a brand spanking new car with no questions on history or anything in general. Yeah, I will pay for it.

That's fair. I just haven't seen a car how I want.

This is close, but no lift and I really don't want another car in white. I would pay low 130s for a SB one with lift as long as under 12k miles.

Helps to explain the noise from current owners in this thread defending the high asking prices, encouraging buyers to look past the price, and attacking any objective market research or analysis.

Yes, exactly!

Good info. Thanks!

I have a feeling this will be the situation this winter if not a little sooner at the rate things are going.

True buyers versus speculators.

Buyer will have a car spec in mind with the price he is willing to pay, and if both boxes are checked, purchase is made.

Speculator will always ask how much cheaper, or how much longer before you buy.

Buyers become drivers. Speculators are passengers.

But only if it's PTS.

Here’s my opinion that means nothing. A allocation for an MSRP .2GT3 seems like it will be harder to get vs the .1. Therefore prices on used ones will probably (maybe) stabilize....

And one thing is guaranteed on RL, every month they’ll be multiple threads on when is the best time to buy a used one and what’s a good price.....

One of the euro owners, I think it was Chris"xxxx", put it in perspective.. Once the .1 owners start to get cars here 450+ in US? there will be a flood of gt3's and prices will get hammered.. The prices in Eur are wayyy down.. I think he mentioned he had it listed for well over 3 months at a reasonable price and neither his nor many other 100? are not moving...

Especially now when everyone wants the new shiney toy and with the perceived value of the 4.0 + 6MT..

I'm one who's in the market for a .1 GT3. However, my price point is close to 130k on a 15' with close to 10k miles. Front lift, bucket seat, etc., are nice to have, but not important to me. However, I would pay a couple grand more for CPO'ed tho. I think it's getting close, I'm hoping, and think it's very realistic, I could get one by late winter/early spring just in time for next year's track season.... (fingers crossing)

I think the perfect time will be December - January coming up. The combination of current owners flooding the market by trading-in .1’s to take delivery of their .2’s, combined with those slow car sale months will ensure a significant dip from current pricing.

I'm just surprised how some dealer asking so much more than most other CPO or not? I saw a few 15' are asking close to 160k while most "reasonable" one are in the low to mid 140k range....

Do you think if I offer them what most other dealers are asking (mid-low 140k) versus there 160k price, will I insulting them?

I know some of my local dealers aren't really force to sales even with the cars sitting in their lot for 2-3 months already. Or at least that's what the sales told me....

Be patient.. let deliveries happen.. Stick with your guns.. Nothing wrong with making offers.. Dealers in my city have kept inflated prices on used GTx cars and older turbo models.. None are selling, they are dropping prices quickly and still not selling ..

I disagree....I think most .2GT3 buyers will be new and not trading in .1 cars.....reason being is the delta to MOST is not worth it....while the MT is desirable dealers will be holing these for ADM's....allocations this time around are not as plentiful as the first run....all those factors and yes there will be more used .1GT3's out there I don't think it will be the glut people think.....

With the way cars are specced and trade values many current owners are looking in the $40-50K range to trade....

From what I know decent dealers are still giving $130K + trade in values on clean 15s under 10K miles.

My .1GT3 is for sale by my dealer at$145K 7Kmiles, $150K sticker plus all the extras like, exhaust, full clear bra, ceramic coating, etc. car is perfect. Car has CPO, that is a good deal.
