People always want what they can't have most so once the cars are easier to get because Porsche keeps building them then the want factor decreases because the car isn't "that special" anymore. The GT2RS will be trading below MSRP this year.

I see the average 991.1 3RS bottoming around 175k,
991.2 3RS bottoming around 225
and 2RS around 300k
strippers or highly optioned examples may fetch +/- $25k

people keep saying that but I think when/if GT2RS can be had for less then $300k they will sell instantly. the other ~1k+ in NA won’t go to the secondary market for years.

.1RS is already at 175k. Is that the bottom?

The big wild card will be what will happen with all of the VIP GT2RSs when their 1-year hold requirement passes. I think the majority of those cars will be on the sales block as there will be a rush to the ADM exit. I'm not saying that the GT2RS will be $200k but it will definitely trade below MSRP this year. I even think it'll trade below MSRP before the 3RS trades below MSRP (which it will as well).
I was offered one last week for $50k over. Don’t care. No way am I flushing $50k down that crapper. I work way too hard for that money. Very happy with the 3RS. At msrp I would have to decide if I get a very fair trade on my 3RS.
owners who paid way over are seeing ADMs melting and will be rushing for the exits. I’ll be waiting if I want one.

There are some minor exceptions such as brand ambassadors, VIP clients etc.
As of today most dealers don’t have very many 19 allocations for build and are still getting $50-$100k in ADM.

I don't see the average selling price of the 2RS dipping below MSRP unless the economy goes in the crapper. With ~1.2k units in NA and a new generation 5 years away, they will hold their value. I'm also not convinced that many VIP's will sell theirs when the opportunity comes. Again, they can't replace it with a similar P-car for at least 5 years, and what's the harm in holding onto it. There's a good chance it goes up slightly in value if the next gen. car has lots of electric gizmos and MSRP is well over $300k.

The 992 GT2 RS will be have electric motor assist and has already been planned.

Seems like both 992 RS models with have some form of hybridization.
