From post 3911 on this thread : https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...gt2rs-261.html

".....just saw live AP confirming 1000 for EU and 1000 for ROW and NA. ....check the live stream from "Porsche Museum“ on Facebook. was around 2:15"

It's not clear from this quote whether AP is saying 1000 for EU, 1000 for ROW and 1000 for NA. Or, 1000 for EU and 1000 cars to be split between ROW and NA.

To me, he's saying the former. In other words 3000 cars total. I'm not convinced that EU sells as many of these cars as NA + ROW put together
This time you are ROW

There. Tidied up his English a bit for him.
(You better come through for me, AP - or whoever)

Does any one know how many 2018's were produced and of that how many were the Weissach model? Looked all over found maybe 1000 for NA if that is correct for base model?

It's funny to see old production guesses. Just like every GT car since 2013. Talk of 2000 world wide, then two or three times that.

GT2RS is at least 1050 cars for NA right now and will likely be 1250+ based on current vins.

We try to satisfy demand.
We can built 1.000 units for EU - and maybe also the same amount for ROW and USA. But more it can´t/will not become - unfortunately.

This clearly means 2.000units in total.
Maybe around 600 for USA is also my guess as also Mike wrote above.
AP also said that the 991 R is the last 911 with manual gearbox

thwre will be about ~1,000 2018MY and ~400 2019MY GT2RS for NA. ~90% have WP option.

There could be up to ~4K WW total.

Those are just the morons of the RL with their pipe dream predictions thinking that Porsche isn't a "for-profit" business. If the car isn't numbered, they'll keep pumping it out if it keeps selling....period, end of story. And when they produce the 992 GT2RS they'll make even more of those than they did of the 991 variety but of course we'll get the same nonsense from these same morons telling us 1,000-1,500 worldwide. haha

But but, it's a great investment since it's the fastest car around the ring. Buy one now or be priced out forever! haha

Hmmm, I might have called it with my 4-5k worldwide production estimate.

Don't know if it works this way but my 2RS was produced in November 2018 and the last 3 digits of the VIN are 697
